The Parallel is back with three deep techno tracks that mark the start of an interplanetary trilogy for the Komisch label. ‘Exopshere’ takes up where his Komisch debut left off, with foreboding, dub-tinged chords building into a menacing climax and swarms of driving, razor sharp percussion keeping the arrangement focused on the dancefloor. ‘Deep End’ explores more esoteric sounds, with swirling, layered chords underpinned by dubbed out drums, heavy claps and hissing percussion, while ‘Analogue City’ brings a mellow end to the release.

The second release on the German imprint Plangent. The three tracker gets off with a lovely post Basic Channel, Dub Techno interpretation of a techno track for the warmer days. The B side does a great job in fusing soft beats and low key melodies with raw structure, drive and pressure.
