New arrival from the [Naked Lunch] camp indelibly stamped with the production Boddika up against a Skudge refix of some vintage Instra:mental heat. “Grand Prix” arises with a cavernous subby bounce, the track is soon invaded by onrushing hi’s and kicks before swerving into a downward spiral of bass and rave stabs. A former [Naked Lunch] glory in “Vicodin” is revisited by Skudge, transforming the frosted atmospherics of Instra:mental’s original into a constantly brooding 4am wall rattler.

Lushly finished, almost pastoral Techno grooves from the unknown quantity, Cajun Hardt. One side is more moody, the other sweetly melancholy, but both with super crisp, twirling synthline and unusual, Latinized drum programming.
