Steve Summers – Analogous Desires EP [CP004]

Steve Summers bangs out four new tracks on his Analogous Desires EP. Summers takes his usual palette of analog machines and creates a new feel for the four tracks on this record. Large Juno basslines, dreamy string leads, and big roomy 707 hits Analogous Desires combines classic elements of Chicago, Detroit, and New York house sounds with some dreamy soundscapes.
I-Land Beat – Cybernautics [FRV007]

Rhythm music and dance is one of the only common pastimes of all humankind around the globe for all of time as we know it. It is one of the only common ceremonies to be used by all different beliefs and cultures. Even now some of the most unaffected tribes in the most remote areas of the globe use rhythm and dance for recreation and for the most important ceremonies. One could even say music and rhythm is the key to reaching the subconsciousness. Let i-land beats rhythm and music take you on a journey and remove all the barriers in your mind and bring peace and love to all of mankind and we can all dance together as one.
Clouded Vision – City Thunder EP [TOB025]

New release on Throne Of Blood by Clouded Vision aka Matt Walsh and Steve Cook. Opening track “City Thunder” finds Clouded Vision in reflective mood, especially when the track opens up into the core section of warm laser like synths and new age cooing. It’s given markedly more rhythmic urgency by Chamboche, whose uptempo refix treats the aforementioned synth elements with cavernous dub and dices them to fit neatly into his own skipping grooves. On the flip, “Alien Race” replaces warmth with darkness as the track’s throbbing acidic DNA is slowly extracted over a slowed down jak beat, while Turbo fellas Gingy & Bordello take the track further down the rabbit hole on their new jack techno refix.
