Baby Red Torres – Stiller’s Reprise [CF001]

This is the first output from the Cosmic Fox label. Baby Red Torres draws on his love of library records, film scores and the Detriot techno, specifically Gerhard Trede/Selected Sound and Fassbinder’s ”World on a Wire” to create these raw, stripped down beats and foreboding melodies.
Noleian Reusse – The Black Tekno [LWYF02]

Reclusive Chi native & member of Africans With Mainframes drop 5 tracks on Pittsburgh’s finest. The machine funk runs wild from the jumpoff, w/raw, jacking beats produced on real hardware.
Obsolete Music Technology – Relapse EP [MDREAMS03]

Obsolete Music Technology aka Steve Tang & Machining Dreams are on a roll, with wax dropping hot & thick. Tang represents a retro-futurist vision of post-acid Chicago house, all made with vintage tech & machine soul.

Sepalcure – Fleur EP [HF026]

Sepalcure presents their second EP featuring four brand new cuts, on Hotflush Recordings.. The “Fleur” EP shows a progression of Sepalcure’s depth of field, weaving distant chords, soulful vocals, and organic rhythms into vibrant, immersive soundscapes, with echoes of house, techno, and dubstep within.
Headhunter – Lost Prophet / Chasing Dragons [IDLE004]

Fresh outta Bristol’s Rooted Records hub, Headhunter lays down the latest Idle Hands 12″. He appears to be on a Soca-Funky/Dubstep mission with both tracks. This works out best on the smartly poised ‘Lost Prophet’, syncing galloping drums with lung-collapsing subs before a majestic techno synthline comes in to remind us who we’re listening to. On the flip ‘Chasing Dragons’ goes harder with a bulked-up drum palette compatible with more techno-inspired Funky, Juke and Dubstep tracks.
Sylvi Foster – If Are You… [CITI003]

Some classic Italo disco for the dancefloor brought to you by Minimal Wave (NYC) sublabel, Cititrax! This EP brings together four of Domenico Ricchini’s best songs, which were released on various hard to find 12″s throughout the years. This is the sound of early Italo disco, with its slinky pre-midi synth-funk elements and great tempos, dark synths and nonsense lyrics to match.
Rushhour – Moogie [SRV06]

Meet the space invaders from St. Petersburg, Russia! Two disco lovers and graffiti artists Zool & Vir with their new duet “Rushhour” make music on a very edge of modern house and retro space-disco. Remixed and mastered by the godfather of Dutch elektro mafia – Alden Tyrell.
Fred Ventura – Undercover EP [IDL011]

Fred Ventura is not only famous for the great hits he released under his own name. His voice could also be heard on many classic Italo Disco gems. This EP contains four of his best ”Undercover”-tracks, previously released as Fockewulf 190, Myxoma and Flexx.

VA – Welovetomerge – Junction [WLTE-JUNCTION]

This is the one and only ever release on Welovetoemerge. Six serious electro-techno grooves to capture your soul – check the aura of moody melodies of Hyboid’s ‘Jenseitsflugmaschine’, Telebot’s electronic love ballad, ‘Robot Messiah’ and the infectious lil’ groove that is Redcone’s ‘The Head’. Top drawer stuff and Interstellar’s album of the month!
VA – The Tear Apart Tapes [MW026]

Out of the 3 songs on this release, 2 were originally released on cassette in the 80’s by Danny Bosten of Das Ding via his own Tear Apart Tapes label. The other one (LAB 80) was a collaboration he did with his brother and has remained unreleased until now. This release was pressed in conjunction with PopWave301 to celebrate Das Ding’s live set at OT301 in Amsterdam on October 21, 2010.
Ruins – The Art Dance LP [MW025]

A full length LP by Ruins, an Italian electro-wave duo. Ruins formed in Mestre in 1978 with the intention of experimenting with electronic devices and mixed media. They mainly created music out of self-expression without any intention of joining the mainstream. Ruins it’s where Italo meets Minimal Wave.
Collin Gorman Weiland – Price Of Leather / Despair & Confession [D07]

Downwards uproot a fine clod of propulsive drone noise from one Collin Gorman Weiland. He follows in the freshly trodden footsteps of Six Six Seconds to release a brilliant debut on the Regis-curated label. A-side ‘Price Of Leather’ attains a pummeling attack velocity of industrial rhythms and sludgy, crooked kosmische spirals and the flipside ‘Despair And Confession’ zones out to gunkjack machine throbs and walls of welting distortion.
