This is the 1st of two limited Japan promos which landed on these shores featuring exclusive tracks not included on his recent ‘Analog Aquarium’ LP. A-side is the raw and ready groove controller ‘Cosmic Soup’, while flipside you’ll find the incredible exclusive ‘Cosmic Jungle’, nearly nine minutes of deep trekking vibes powered by Maurizio-like bassline and wiped with moody strings, all in that shady, inimitable Detroit style.

Remix package of Suspect… not sure who the artists is, but the title suggest it’s another Tevo Howard project?! Retro Chicago tracks with analogue drums and synths.

The fourth release on Don’t Be Afraid “West Acyd Shelter” takes one of the most important jazz funk records of the 1970’s as its starting point. Semtek rebuilds the legendary hook from scratch over a disorienting range of acid, broken and techno accoutrements leaving a tweaked out bassline stepper. Photonz bring their unique style to the proceedings with an “I can’t believe it’s not garage” take on Semtek’s beat. The B-side “East Acyd Shelter” is a sparse analogue workout.

Just another pair of deep and dope House grooves from Prostitune for Just Another Beat. He’s evidently down for a boogie this time, pushing the tempo up slightly for the swing-jacking, swirling and seductive Chicago-meets-Detroit drive of ‘Justfixit’, while ‘Nj Turnpike’ offers some beatdown contrast for the deeper corners of the night.

The second Tsuba Limited 12″ comes from Underground Quality artist Tazz and it’s two tracks of raw and, as the title suggests, underground house cuts at its best.

The new IKE experience delivers three pieces of pure rawness again. Some claustrophobic soul, a reminiscence of the airwave-godfather himself and a jackin’ tool prove the projects variety once again.

Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver drops the gears with the second installment of Planetary Assault Systems’ “Deep Heet” Series. Comprising three state-of-the-art expeditions into deep space techno, “Deep Heet Vol. 2” takes techno back to its primitive roots, adding details inspired by yet-tobe-explored points in the galaxy.

Adding to an already outstanding group of re-workings from Robert Hood, Ben Klock, and DVS1, Blueprint now present the final chapter in the ‘Post-Traumatic Son’ remix series. The final mixes come from Berghain’s resident Marcel Dettmann.

Detroit techno from Erik Cronin as Codine. A dubbed out journey with intricate rhythms & mood. Alex Israel’s mix is a a more soulful approach while Derrick Plaslaiko brings a nice basement style mix

The first release from the NYC label ReSolute is coming from Franklin de Costa. ‘Queen of Mars’ is a gleaming slice of timeless techno soul, its tough, throbbing rhythm overlaid with shimmering, Detroit-tinged chords! Dario Zenker is on remix duties.
