MD – It Ain’t What It Used To Be [X]

Mysterious released, no information about the label or the producer. Melodic retro acid house/techno, classic early 90s sounding Detroit stuff. “It Ain’t What It Ain’t” powers along on a snapping 808 drum track with a bubbling 303 bassline, big washy strings and jazzy synth solo. Flipside cut “Megapolitan Soul” is a sublime piece of beatdown house that oozes soul. a gospel / soul vocal, hand claps and Detroit house pads and efx make this an absolute blinder for me.
Dynamo Dreesen and SVN – Woodlandscene [ACIDO008]

Mini album from original raw Chicago house to atmospheric chilled electronics – with kind of Sahko style minimalistic approach.
Brawther & Chez N Trent – Brawther Remixes [BL013]

This new release includes Brawther takes his added interpretation of Chez N Trents ‘Don’t try it/Happy’ while keeping its original mood. Creatively done in good classic dub taste. Included in this remix package a new remix of the underground techno cut Le Voyage which has now been given the house treatment. It keeps getting better as Brawther also added to this smash 12 inch his own interpretation of the current Balance release of Saint Sebastion / Wipe the Needle “Life” and a added bonus and remix of Asteroids and Stardust by Chez Damier.

Sigha – Politics Of Dying [OCS002]

Sigha’s ‘Our Circula Sound’ presents the second release, with some dark, introspective and hypnotic techno. On remix duties are Shifted and James Ruskin.
Marcelus – Ep 2 [DRH034]

Marcelus returns to Deeply Rooted House with a exciting twelve inch ‘Ep. 2’! Rawer stompin tracks that never fail to capture that essential funking groove that make the difference between a standard techno track and a track that stands out!
VA – 61 Center Returning Vol. 3 [T2X014]

Time To Express returns with number 14. The A side track ‘Elektra’ sees Italian techno maestro Donato Dozzy team up with Peter Van Hoesen. With ‘Barreleye’ Dave Twomey aka Tr nch and Iori Asano take up the B side.
Wireman — Monobloc [ISM001]

New label with a first release by Wireman. Rawer, but mid tempo, techno tracks of which the b-side starts with a heavy dub influenced cut. The other two tracks are straight jacking techno tracks with a sexy groove.
