Thirtyonetwenty welcomes on the 15th release the Romanian duo Hermannstadt Collective, aka Mihai Popoviciu and Jay Bliss, and this time Markus Homm joins them. “Midnight Fun” is a homage to classic Detroit dance tracks with an up-to-date feel. Sankt Goran presents a old Swedish release that has been released as promo only in 1999. Its a release called Slobban by a late 90’s trio of Jens Johansson, Peter Gustafsson and Carl Magnus Ernström from Falun in the woods of Dalarna. Almost classic Detroit Techno tracks with some jazzy influences from these guys that have been playing around and tweeking their Deep Bass Nine, TB-303, Korg DW8000 and Yamaha DX7 & DX10, sprinkling some samples on top with the Casio FZ-10M since 1994.

A few years have passed and Neurhythmics resurfaces after like-minded souls decided to bring it back. Juergen Junker returns with a 3 track 12” that stems from a live-set concept he created over the last few months. Raw as you like, it takes a distinct bow towards the earlier days of the windy city.

Raw, booming and pretty straightforward yet with that typical Jeroen Search touch. “Ellipse” is loopy, minimalistic and a very effective dancefloor weapon. “Periapsis” on the other hand is a calmer track, deepness, darkness, smoothness. The background sounds give it a unsettling vibe while the acid’ish stabs give it that hypnotic feel you drugheads all crave for. But the icing on the cake is definetely the Conforce remix.

Milton Bradley recently released a new EP with Grounded Theory’s Henning Baer as K209. Some harder stomping noisy techno cuts.

50 Weapons presents Benjamin Damage and Doc Daneeka with 2 stunning collaboration works, merging classic Techno and House influences with UK Bass elements. “Creeper/Infamous” yet again shows Modeselektor’s 50 Weapons label from a new and different perspective.

Arne Weinberg’s Integrity Constraint – Part 2 is a worthy follow up to the well-received first release in this series. Arne has produced these tracks in his atmospheric and well-known style, in which beautifully arranged sounds embrace the listener in a timeless journey.

Hudd Traxx are back with an EP from Agnès. This is an EP that takes you through a variety of avenues; from the tripped out and soul tinged ‘Silent Obz’, through to the wickedly sleazy sounds of ‘You Did Naughty’. The title track ‘Got That Music in My Mind’ on the flip cranks up the bmp a bit with a track that’s high energy but still knows how to rock a deep synth, and finishing up proceedings, ‘Spanky Times’ offers a cheeky groove and slick beats that are guaranteed to get the floor rocking.

Debut album from the highly intriguing June. ‘Cyntheria’ is a canny mix of vintage Chicago moods and grooves with more European Italo influences, dreamy and ethereal electronic music grounded in classic chicago, acid house, new wave and synth pop. The album includes also two DJ Sprinkles remixes.

Tabernacle Records is releasing a Daniel Andréasson, keen photographer and self-confessed acid addict, EP with an introspective yet versatile 5 track EP.
