The third part in Absurd Recordings’ Acid Test Series is “a spaced out ambient acid tune” recorded for the Labyrinth festival in 2010 by Donato Dozzy. Labelmate Tin Man remixes the track on the flipside and turns it “into a dark tripped out acid journey” with his added vocals.

As dRUMMAN, Jori Hulkkonen, is taking his live music back to the roots, illustrating his multifaceted musical skills he is redefining his gigs using drum machines, analog sequencers and synths. After a number of gigs under his new moniker he’s delivering an amazing E.P. in the same spirit.

Roy of the Ravers releases his debut album, a somewhat deeper and darker affair than the “2010 Annual” EP and showing another side to the enigmatic acid-purveying, comic strip plagiarising hardware aficionado. Anyone else wondering what happened to track 16? Us too.

A new release by Tropic of Cancer, the LA-based duo of Camella Lobo and Juan Mendez (aka Silent Servant). They make make raw, visceral music in the loose tradition of minimal synth, post-punk, industrial and goth, produced with authority and a supremely evolved grasp of spatial arrangement. Superb experimental edged & punk drone-rock infected cuts.
