After a two years hiatus, the Bucharest based label Local Records is back. They will have a relaunch party on September 30th at MNAC terrace (National Museum of Contemporary Art) stating at 7 PM. This occasion will be used also for releasing their new EP, coming from a new artist, Saluna. He will be joined by another newcomer, Droict, who is also preparing a release for Local Records and veterans Minus and Alexandru Jijian.
The party will continue after 11 PM at club Kran with Saluna, Droict and Jijian.
Local Records is a non-profit organization working under the Creative Commons license, who wants to create an artistic community of mutual interests and to discover new Romanian sound by encouraging producers which currently don’t have the stimuli to persevere and show their true potential. They want to promote music, not by selling it, but by sharing it with everybody how is interested in it, thus contributing to the development of culture. Their intention is to focus on new talents, new producers, encouraging them to express themselves and to create progress in the underground culture.
