Mr. Fingers AKA Larry Heard remixes of Monty Luke’s ‘Lonely Is The Night.

Stunning tracks by Monty Luke on his own Black Catalogue label. Beautiful emotive tracks about the streets of Detroit. Beauty and unexpected danger.

This is the 5th Black Catalogue release. “Modern Underground Music Volume 2” is another collection of tracks from all sectors of the electronic music underground. This sampler contains some fantastic exclusive tracks from Monty Luke, London’s Ibrahim Alfa Jnr., San Francisco’s Lance De Sardi, the amazing AbJo and brand new artist Kneco Uqdah Jr., hailing from the Detroit. Each track has its own style and fashion and continues Black Catalogue’s commitment to global dancefloor devastation.

This is the 4th Black Catalogue release. “Through The Galaxies” was originally released on the ‘Modern Underground Music’ sampler. This version is a full release with remixes by both Lucy from Stroboscopic and Shigeto from Ghostly.

The first release on Black Catalogue is coming from owner Monty Luke. The “Tomorrow EP” contains three tracks and gives an eclectic glimpse into what just what Black Catalogue is all about. The A-side, “Tomorrow,” is a sub-bass driven snapshot one of Detroit’s possible futures. “The Next” is simply a message. And the double-A side, “Yesterday & Today” is a Detroit dancefloor record that takes a filtered disco hook into a future direction.
