Proper banging techno by Head Front Panel aka John Heckle. Relentless analogue techno tracks rooted in the early and mid 90’s styles. Intense, atmospheric, bass heavy, percussive, raw techno gems for the dancefloor. Includes beautifully crafted + absorbing ambient interludes. A definite nod to Jeff Mills 90’s Axis / Waveform Transmissions.
Killer 13th EP release as Head Front Panel aka John Heckle with some relentless techno tracks in the best tradition.
Super Rhythm Trax welcomes producer John Heckle to the label. On this release you’ll find heavy nods to Detroit as the music is bursting with soaring chords and emotion but all the time underpinned by the heaviest of 909 beats.
A two-part mix as a follow up to the recent ambient & light meditation gigs at brilliant corners.
John Heckle’s first one for 030303 starts off deliciously with “Translate” being a moody and melodic and bouncer that caters to a twisted dance floor. “Terix”, the opener on the B-side is a beautiful reminder of Derrick May’s Detroit, Rhythm is Rhythm’s “Kao-Tic Harmony” in particular. The end of this record then, is like the end of most nights: with lots of melodies going on and a stomping rhythm “Hear Me” is by far the most mind bending track of this excellent 12″.
Moondance Records present their second release with UK’s talented John Heckle. John delivers brand new 3 track EP for Croatian imprint. He delivers “warm analog” but yet powerful and raw techno EP with his “in your face” TR707 drums, lush Juno pads, mean and distorted.
Time marches on with two Various Artist EPs to celebrate the 20th release on Lunar Disko Records. Eight tracks encompassing the modus operandi of the label since the beginnings… Part 1 features three Lunar Disko favourites in the form of John Heckle, 214, and VC-118A, alongside a label debut from upcoming Dublin producer Conan_ aka Conan O’ Donnell. Detroit influenced electro and techno on the A-side, while the B-side transports the listener into deeper electro soundscapes.
‘Tone To Voice’ is John Heckle’s fourth long player, and second on Tabernacle. Science fiction tracks of the highest order demonstrating a subtle development of John’s already widely recognised sound.

Full 3 hours recorded in Cluj in January 2017. A thanks to the Hipodrome and Gazette crews. Great bunker venue & great crowd (a couple of jumping needles towards the end when the room itself was particularly jumping).
After more than 4 years, John Heckle returns to Sibiu. Since then, the Merseyside artist has been busy reinforcing his producer abilities of house and techno with more releases on Tabernacle, M>O>S, Altered Moods, Scenery, Lunar Disko, Midnight Shift, Mathematics, Bedouin and from 2014 mostly championing his new project Head Front Panel with a string of 12 releases on the Tabernacle sub-label and performing live and spinning records all over the world from Singapore to Moscow and from Berlin to Indonesia.
