Two Berlin underdogs and a Detroit ravemaster. ADSX aka Andre Fischer might sound new to many but has been an active part of the underground electronic movement for the last 30 years. Benji DF aka Hanoben is no newbie to the scene either and might have soundtracked your night if you were to be found at clubs like Tresor or Snax in the late 90s. Together they recorded an ode to aural sex, its acid counterpart, and a genius sketch of a club banger. When label honcho Capablanca heard the latter had little doubts about commissioning an extended mix to Motor City’s Special Forces Gen. Sharif Laffrey delivers an unstoppable 12 minute dancefloor annihilator.

Two edited monster jams that you actually need. A side adjusted by Berliner Discos affiliated Hanoben aka Benji DF, while B side is delivered by Eastern promise olta Karawane.

Rouge Mecanique delivers a stone cold classic EP for Discos Capablanca. The psychedelic steady muscle of ‘All Will Be Changed’ aims to destroy visionary dance floors. ‘Sans Scrupules’ is the most surprising acid banger you will likely hear this year. ‘Ampedusa / Xaver’ defies description and its mutant sound could evoque ecstatic early minimal house references, kraut and concrete music. ‘Can I Say’ is simply put the most elegant, languid way to say goodbye to an EP that exudes sheer brilliance and character.

Discos Capablanca present the definitive Keita Sano collection. After months of listening to demos, label and artist came up with a tight selection of tracks that represent at its best the Keita Sano sound and simultaneously have the potential to slay the bravest dancefloors. With a clear flair for industrial and raw sounds but not forgetting his House influences.

Given the quality of his previous releases on Hivern Discs, you’d expect this ultra-limited 12″ excursion from Marc Pinol to be pretty special. It is, of course, with the Spanish producer’s original version of “Clef III” getting the perfect balance between nu-disco style, melody rich beauty and good old-fashioned, acid-flecked Chicago jack. Alejandro Paz works the drums and handclaps harder on his trippy, hypnotic take, while Capablanca hit the button marked “Balearic acid” on their spiralling, near psychedelic take. It’s a great package, made all the more alluring by the strange paucity of copies (just 99 worldwide, apparently… be quick or miss out).

Discos Capablanca is back… and you know its hot when they drop it! Two excellent edits from CVLT, somewhere between wave / cosmic / flamenco / psych blues.

Two Dogs In A House is Steve Summers and Ron Morelli (L.I.E.S) meanest project to date. Rising from the delay saturated muck, pushing the red, straight forward and to the point with no time to waste, these Brooklyn dogs started with a simple modus operandi as to make effective, psychedelic tracks. This 12” is an statement by itself, sounding more experimental and raw, it evokes Chicago, Detroit, and Industrial Records equally.
