When it comes to dark, mesmerizing electronic music steeped in EBM, house, industrial, and electro, few artists delve as deep, or as strangely, as Timothy J Fairplay. His Melt the Chains EP pulses with slow, chugging rhythms, warped synths, and a kind of psychedelic paranoia that feels tailor-made for shadowy dancefloors and late-night headphone sessions alike. NYC experimental producer Neud Photo is up next on Eya’s Lonewolf series with a killer 5 tracker named ‘Echoes. The EP brilliantly oscillates between various inspirations with a strong machine sound; an incredible and hauting journey into electro, new beat, minimal and techno.
EYA Records label has scored another big one here with this old-school House and Techno flavored EP by UK producer Tom Carruthers. EYA Records continue to bring up some of the most inventive and forward-thinking Techno and Electro jams, this time welcoming back Berlin-based live performer and producer Otis. “Danger At The Tendo Dojo” EP is flawless, trippy and explorative. A unique journey into the artist’s mind through the rhythms and sounds of analog machines and synthesizers.

EYA Records marks its 10th release with a solo work from French producer Master Flashhh. The opening track “Too Big to fail” is stripped back yet energetic, driven by 909 drums,atmospheric pads and drifting vocals. A2 “Beat Boxxx” is catchy electro workout with vocal samples from a Dominican Republic radio and 303 acid lines. On the B side “Boulevard Mystere’ is an ode to Boulevard Barbes in Paris, the track is characterised by haunting melodies and a warm analogue bass. B2 is a dreamy and evocative number with the use of Juno 106 spacey sounds and 808 drum patterns.Enigma EP is contemplative, audacious and imaginative.
