Konduku returns for the fifth and final installment on his Nous’klaer Audio K-series. A diverse four tracker embodying Konduku’s signature style of poly grooves and vibrant euphonies. A flow from dark to light that marks the end of this special series of releases.
Konduku makes his first appearance on DJ Nobu’s label Bitta, presenting four highly energetic, deep hypnotic cuts. It’s the perfect collision between their characteristic practices. Konduku’s two immersive techno works, in the form of ‘Hayal’ and the atmospheric ‘Yakamoz’, compliment Nobu’s powerful and uplifting mountain-valley sound. Balancing out the EP are two proper mind-benders: ‘Damla’ perfectly represents Konduku’s take on twirling half-tempo rhythms and ‘Zifir’ is a freaky heavy-hitter in the low sub territories.
Konduku returns to the Delsin Mantis series with an exciting double pack which dives deeper into his remarkable fractured rhythms and light-touch synthesis. Over the course of nine tracks Ruben Üvez straddles the space between introspective headphone trips and hypnotising dancefloor elegance, operating in a liminal zone of fluid tempos, submerged atmospheres and pointillist beats. It’s an open-ended but clear-sighted approach that aligns perfectly with the direction of the Mantis series.
The fifth release on Space Drum Meditation comes with seven club-focused remixes of the previous record. Turning the once psycedelic SDM004 into a straighter, heavy percussion driven record with subliminal techno spirit. Featuring remixes by Mateo Hurtado, Talismann, Marco Shuttle, Anthony Linell, Konduku and Discknocked.
The third installment in the Delsin Mantis series comes from Dutch producer Konduku. The three tracks on this 12” are a masterclass in subtle soundsystem music, matching his intricate drum programming and enlightening ambient textures with the primal energy of early bleep and bass.
In 2018 Konduku took everyone by surprise with his debut called Kiran. It doesn’t happen all too often a new artist emerges with such a developed and distinctive sound, delivering an album as debut. Now, a year and three EPs later, Nous’klaer Audio is thrilled to present his followup: White Heron. His singular sound of odd-groove based techno has aged into a sound that’s more mature yet still very playful. Konduku further refined his sound of snappy polyrhythmic blips by using a controlled sound palette focusing on the tensions in-between. Starting with the mesmerizing depth of Kenar to the stripped down halfstepper Hermitage, and from the synthetic beat patterns of Kobalt to the colorful dream fields of Belki – White Heron is an album designed to listen from start to finish, but more than anything else meant for the club.
