Danny Wolfers’ latest offering the “Sark Island Acid” EP once again brings the listener into his shadowy world where the sounds of Chicago and Detroit meld with a demented dreamworld in which woodland creatures attempt space travel, lonely middle-aged men cast off by society perform circuit bending experiments in their parents suburban basement and autistic fans of late night talk radio call in from the outer-reaches to discuss world politics.

The tracks on this recording are the unedited experimentations of Willie Burns and are a testament to music when it comes straight from the heart without pretense or forethought unlike most dance music today.

L.I.E.S. is back with another offering from the underground, this time by Steve Moore. He delivers two tracks of epic, heavily synth-driven, nu-age techno which shifts between moments of light, darkness and the grey area in between, slowly morphing as they progress onward.

A somewhat mysterious collaboration between three people from varying parts of the world is finally pieced together after being lost and found over the last two years. The final result being two stripped down and uncompromising tracks that go from Chicago to Detroit and beyond. Also included is Legowelt’s remix of Comeback Dust which takes the original and adds his signature Chicago Smudge sound to the mix.

Debut release by Two Dogs in a House comprised of Jason Letkiewicz (Steve Summers, Maloveaux, RBL) and Ron Morelli of the L.I.E.S. label. Continuing in the tradition of producing old school analog house tracks with a twist, LIES 002 takes it to the more melancholy side of the Chicago and New York spectrum with brooding basslines and hand played melodies.

Producer Jason Letkiewicz, the man behind such projects a Steve Summers (Clone), Rhythm Based Lovers (Futuretimes, FrequeNC), Innergaze (Touch Your Life) and a couple of other projects you may not have heard is back with yet another new project and alias. Released on the new L.I.E.S. imprint out of New York City, Malvoeaux clocks in with three tracks making something new from the old.
