The notorious Jordan GCZ is back on his own label. This time he switches the arpeggiators to ‘Body’ and it’s all go… for a while. Two more tool type versions on the flip..for the DJs.

No Nonsense jagged-edged deepness. Young gun Tom Dicicco kills it with these two slices of strobe light euphoria for those dance floor moments when you forget where you are.

2nd in the lost tapes series from a true boss in German Electronics,Move D. All taped between 1992 and 1996 at at KM20, Heidelberg. This second round of archival material proves to be just as rewarding as last year’s inaugural entry, with lead track “Willenlos” a killer 12 minute journey into classic deep dub techno. Flip it and you’ll find a young Moufang dabbling in some trippy downbeat manoeuvres with “Evil Track” whilst “Inside the Dollhouse” fizzes with alien percussive qualities.

Having largely worked with a cast of close associates for releases on Off Minor so far, Jordan ‘Jordash’ Czamanski dips his toes into the unknown with the presentation of Stump Valley for the label’s fifth release. Expect free flowing rhythms built from rough drums, insouciant melodic touches and the occasional odd lyrical embellishment.

Entitled Beehive Rhythms, the four-track EP is the debut of Zsa Gang, a collaborative project between Jordan Czamanski and Future Times co-head Max D. Taking a similarly live and freewheeling approach to Czamanski’s sometimes psychedelic work as part of Juju & Jordash and Magic Mountain High, the raw hardware sounds nevertheless seem to have some of the stripped back dancefloor focus and thumping rhythms of Max D’s Dolo Percussion project.

Latest release from the collaborative project between Move D. & Juju & Jordash. Deep and refined techno tracks.

Having launched Off Minor Recordings with some of his own refined solo material under the Cry Baby J moniker, Jordan Czamanski adopts a more archival tone for the label’s second release, digging into the unreleased early nineties works of Move D. Recorded at his KM20 Studio in hometown Heidelberg (hence the name) The KM20 Tapes feel all too appropriate for contemporary analysis, drawing on a smudged and improvised approach to analogue electronics. The rugged drawn out acid of “Ovi Riese” in particular bangs the box in a degraded manner that is most pleasing. Excitingly, this is the first of an irregular series of archival material from Moufang on Off Minor with Czamanski apparently sitting on a tonne of tracks.

Jordan Czamanski aka Jordash of Juju & Jordash pops up solo on his own new label Off Minor Recordings as Jordan GCZ.
