Philpot presents a solo release by Murat Tepeli. The style feels right at home on the label, not least on the tumbledown beats and rubbery sub bass of “Mastika”. There’s a definite Berlin weight behind the monstrous kick on “Clifetelli” which sounds primed for Panoramabar, but it’s not all fist-pumping brawn as “Good” proves. Displaced flurries of drums appear occasionally, but really this track is all about the haunting melodic refrain.

Lisbon-based producer Arttu Sellman release the second two-tracker for Philpot. Both the title track and flipside “Upwards” bear the aural hallmarks and raw drum machine sounds of early house and techno. While the latter is a driving fusion of drifting vocal samples, fuzzy beats and brain-melting acid bass, it still retains the analogue swing and evocative feel of the immaculate title track. While neither track could be described as revolutionary, both offer an attractive package of spellbinding grooves and intoxicating analogue riffs.

The vibes of this years Freerotation Festival inspired SoulPhiction to record these two tracks during the rehearsal for his live set. Both sides are unedited and Freerotation II is the instrumental remix of an upcoming album track featuring Suzana Rozkosny on vocals.

Roman Rauch’s debut on Philpot with a remix package incl. Erdbeerschnitzel and SoulPhiction remixes. Both do a brilliant job twisting the originals with their trademark mixes and Roman also contributed a new track in the same vein as his predecessors.

Arttu aka Lump comes with two tracks of raw minimal music with an edge and unpredictable arrangements.

The new IKE experience delivers three pieces of pure rawness again. Some claustrophobic soul, a reminiscence of the airwave-godfather himself and a jackin’ tool prove the projects variety once again.

This 12inch contains the duo’s psychedelic-kraut-techno “Tattoo’s Island” in three takes! The original is a tension-laden epic cut while the dub version strips it down a bit and changes the tone mid-track to a more techy-edge – spiritual, snare driven and dubbed out to oblivion. Tom Trago’s “Lost In The Jungle” remix gives the track a whole new twist

Yoshihiro Hanno aka Radiq is a musician and composer from Japan, now living and working between Tokyo and Paris. Here he delivers two tracks, one being remixed by SoulPhiction !
