Scape One’s penchant for Sci-Fi is reflected in Recombination; an electronic adventure through space time, stopping briefly for an atomic war. Kurt Baggaley’s vast experience and collection of analogue synthesizers can be heard to full effect with crushing bass, bubbling leads and arpeggiated sweeps throughout. Strong artistic influences on the EP from John Foxx, Vangelis to Autechre (Incunabula-esque). All in all a cocktail for the perfect electro cut.

Trust’s anniversary series continues with its second of three chapters: Six far-fiction electro tracks by DJ Stingray, Dez Williams, Scape One, DJ Glow, Microthol, and Biepang continue the story of a human mining operation on 61 Cygnus e, a remote planet orbiting Bessel’s star.

Next for Brokntoys is prolific producer of the underground UK Electro scene, Scape One. Kurt Baggaley has released on many electro labels over the years including SCSI-AV, Drivecom, Electrix and Cultivated Electronics. For this EP Scape One serves up 4 tracks of deep and murky electro and techno for the early morning and afterhours.
