French producer Anetha delivers four hypnotic techno cuts in her debut EP on Spencer Parker’s Work Them Records. ‘Black Widow’ begins with a syncopated kick and chugging synth line, before ‘Orchid’s Curse’ delivers piercing percussion and an infectious 303. ‘Last Evening’ then ventures into mesmerising territories with its tantalising atmospherics, until ‘Drive With A Dead Girl’ conjures a sullen vibe through the use of arpeggiated notes and poignant moans.

Another release from Spencer Parker’s Work Them imprint. It’s brutalist peak time techno from Sam Coates. The A side features “Man Ray” a bleak, peak time monster and “Movement’ which channels that old grating, loopy. On the flip is the cyclical madness of “Ulterior Motive” with its mesmerising synth melody and kicks on the clap. Finally “Menifesto” is more restrained with its warped style melody and true roller of a groove.
