What is the electronic lab? Given the lack of a space dedicated to experimental music, electronic music and also music from other spheres, it was decided to organize such weekly events in which to try to promote as many artists, big and small, and in which the sound is not define by volume, but by the opportunity to be carefully examined and studied by each laboratory participant.
Why lab? Because the lab means interaction, the space between artist and listener shrinks considerably, leaving instead the possibility of dialogue. We’ll try to broaden the horizons of the laboratory, to define new concepts and to put them into practice. Currently we do not want to reveal them, the participants will learn them during the time of their application.
What is the purpose of the laboratory? Our goal is primarily to promote quality music, and because it can be found among domestic producers (yet) unknown, we will mold in this direction. Subsequently, we want to orient also to known artists, and why not, even artists from other countries.
Where is your lab? The location is not randomly chosen. 4:20 is an alternative space that is open for such purposes. Because the location is not limited to the art of sound, it can be easily confused with a gallery of modern visual arts (painting / collage / drawing / sculpture / graphics / visual / film). Come on Lipova 34 Street, every day, and you can decide if it is or not on your taste.
