Intergalactic Gary started mixing around 1980 after being influenced by the (Italo)disco scene in The Hague.
His professional DJ career started in 1990 with squat and club parties in The Hague. He got an installment in LA D.S. club in The Hague in 1992 until 1996 to DJ weekly House, Garage & Disco on Sunday nights. He appeared in-between on several local parties and clubs.
Since 1999 he is active as DJ in the European club circuit.
Ever since 1994 he was a weekly DJ guest for regional pirate radio stations together with I-F and crew (Trend FM, Radical Radio) and he was a regular mixer at The Cybernetic Broadcasting System since the first days. Now he is active on I-F’s Intergalactic FM.
John released the first record in 1996 as Silverstream for Top Secret Records.
He started The Parallax Corporation together with I-F in 1998 and produced the club hit ‘Lift Off’. Short after followed up the Cocadisco series with 4 EPs and the Cocadisco Album appeared later on Viewlexx.
John was also involved in The Parallax Corporation remix work Sony Music, Clone, Sabotage and Detroit’s Intuit-Solar Records.
John has, under his Intergalactic Gary moniker, 4 CD Mix Compilation releases on Panama Racing and Roller Disco Records and others mixes for different electronic music websites.
