We start presenting our favorite tracks from 2025. More or less in a chronological order we present here the second set of tracks.

Swiss master Shaka delivers the deepest, most musical, jazzy and groovy House for Yore Records with this track entitled ‘Build On Revolution‘.
‘Lightweave‘ of Johannes Volk for Running Back blends traditional techno components, an inclination for melodies, 80s electro(nic) pop and aesthesia for ecstasy.
Mannequin Records released Chromium – Something in the Air (The Hacker Club Mix), a thrilling reinterpretation by legendary French producer The Hacker. Originally composed by Chromium in the early ‘90s, this track is part of the Chromium Industries (1991-1992) collection – an essential archive of forward-thinking electronic music, bridging proto-techno, industrial, and EBM. With his signature touch, The Hacker injects a darkly hypnotic energy into “Something in the Air”, transforming it into a peak-time club weapon, while staying true to the spirit of the original.
Rich in melody and an instantly classic in feel, Luca dell’Orso’s ‘Dear Rosie‘ released on CWPT is a lush Italo, sensitively summoned from the Netherlands.
‘Smoke Detectors‘ by Raymond D. Barre is an emotional electro track from the album ‘Dans l’Oeil Du Biset’ released on Nocta Numerica.
Rich Jones is the man behind Operator and he’s been making increasingly potent waves with his own label Gnosis Records. ‘Mall To Beach ’80’ on Ilian Tape is vamping chords and hammering hits over hunched up drums.
‘This World’ comes from ‘The Illusion Of Control’, En Direct’s first album, released on Clear Memory. A long player diving deep into the realms of the human mind and its abyss. Exploring insecurities, uproar and mania with Industrial studies and EBM, rounding it off with bittersweet Minimal Wave and Electro for the sleepless.
Powerdance is a collective of dance music artists from London. This time joined by musical partner Chris Penny, rising star Josh Ludlow and original band members Alinka, Lance Desardi amongst others, the live hybrid of fusing wild synths, drums and percussion from the legendary Holly Madge, the band take you in outer space with their trippy spin on disco, funk and house music. ‘Icarus’ is our pick.
‘Elementa Obscura Vol. 01’ is the first vinyl release from Ediciones Espectro Oculto, a wave-infused compilation which moves through the dim & dazzling realms of electronic music. The release kicks off with ‘Evacuate’, a new-beat-esque track by Greek maverick Trenton Chase.
On this Syncrophone release, Gerard Hanson provides some double work. He remixes with his E.R.P. project the track ‘Torc’ by his other project Convextion. The result is a futuristic electro masterpiece.
More to come. Stay tuned.
