On 24 September, from 19:00, in the garden of the German Cultural Centre in Sibiu, DocuNights returns with a special evening dedicated to one of the most fascinating musical stories of post-war Europe.
The Hipodrome of Music, in collaboration with the German Cultural Centre Sibiu, invite you to the screening of “Liebe, D-Mark und Tod” (Love, Deutschmarks and Death), an acclaimed documentary exploring the rich and often overlooked world of Turkish immigrant music in Germany. Through stories, archives and unforgettable songs, the film reveals how music became a space of identity, belonging and resistance.
