Tom Carruthers is back with a second drop on the CRUV label. ‘Track 1’ has a subtle warmth and radiance to it that you might want to drop just as morning begins to break after a long session with your head down in the dark. ‘Track 2’ has a bouncy groove with synth rushes triggered left right and center and a lovely funk to it. There are darker, sleazier sounds on ‘Track 3’ and backlit, warming synth cuddles light up ‘Track 5’ before a more leggy 909 workout closes with the deep and classy, dubby tech of ‘Track 6.’ Timeless sounds that avoid trends in favor of lasting vibes.
