Dalmata Daniel label continues its lathe cut series welcoming back Betonkust from the Netherlands. These tracks revisit the raw analog sound reminiscent of his previous releases on the label, an instantly recognizable trademark of his sound from the first listen. The single kicks off with “Bill And His Cat,” a cute and playful electro track, followed by the lullaby-esque synthwave masterpiece “Second Rerun.”
Dalmata Daniel, with the seventh installment of the lathe cut series, invites us on a time travel journey. 11 years ago, on a hot and acidic July evening, the SILF guys secluded themselves in the Ballacid studio in the concrete jungle of Újpest to dive into the night with their analog setup. During the jam session, led by the TB303 bass synthesizer, these two timeless classic acid variations were born from a single theme. ‘Tot-O’ is the darker, more rugged stomper, while ‘Tot-A’ is the lighter, more upbeat acid-house track, featuring the playful use of the TR707 and TR727 drum machines by the duo.
The Dalmata Daniel Extra series is back with another limited 10″ lathe cut record by E-bony. With DDE03 he delivers 4 strong and dark tracks in his own style, something you can immediately recognize from the heavy, rumbling basslines, spooky synth melodies and unstoppable rhythms.
