‘Bad Dog’ shows Jerome exploring an experiment in thoroughly inspired Chicago House flavoured Techno. Lake Michigan’s chill runs all through the bass, hats and snares. A-sides don’t come much better than this. Completing the A-Side is, ‘Rabid Dog’. This is some foam – mouthed Techno with a lighter hint of old-school Chicago. One B-side, ‘Good Dog’ is a classy tune complete with Detroit stabs that get the Jerome treatment and a heavy dose of perfectly tinged 909 hats, that slice right through the mix.

The Austrian techno label Petrol Dollar has released an EP from Romanian Lektronikumuz. Lektronikumuz is one of Romania’s finest techno djs and one of the last consistently playing out quality Detroit techno. The “Roll Over All” EP consists of 7 tracks, from which clearly stand out the two versions of “Roll Over All”, a tribal techno cut that has it inspiration in DJ 3000 and Motech.
A-side is a great track by Scan 7, previously released in 1993 on the ”Magic Tracks Compilation” CD only. This is your chance to finally have it on vinyl! The B-side is a techno track in the well known Stinkworx style, and quality.
Label boss Aroy Dee signs for his already 8th release on his own MOS Recordings label. The track ‘Beauty’ reminds his label’s first release, a basic dreamy melodic house track. On the b-side we find man of the moment Rabih Beaini aka Morphosis dropping a heavy remix. Hot on the heels of his praised ‘What Have We Learned’-album takes his dark dusty ‘Cabinet’-remix all things in perspective.
Sankt Goran presents a old Swedish release that has been released as promo only in 1999. Its a release called Slobban by a late 90’s trio of Jens Johansson, Peter Gustafsson and Carl Magnus Ernström from Falun in the woods of Dalarna. Almost classic Detroit Techno tracks with some jazzy influences from these guys that have been playing around and tweeking their Deep Bass Nine, TB-303, Korg DW8000 and Yamaha DX7 & DX10, sprinkling some samples on top with the Casio FZ-10M since 1994.
