New release from Eduardo de la Calle on COORREENTE. This EP drifts through hypnotic rhythms, deep pulses and evolving textures, inviting the listener into a space where time softens and movement becomes instinct. A meeting of two currents, flowing in the same direction, guided by depth, energy and a shared love for the spaces between sound.
Eduardo de la Calle and DJ Surgeles meet Fabio Giachino, David Strike, and Manu Melero Amaya in Telmaco Xavier Quintet, a project where jazz and electronics engage in a real-time exchange rather than a controlled experiment. “Time Pawn” is built on interaction – musicians and machines reacting to each other, shifting between structure and instinct. Eduardo and Surgeles don’t frame jazz within an electronic grid, nor do they treat electronic textures as a decorative layer. Instead, they allow both elements to retain their full character, pushing and pulling in ways that never settle into easy resolutions. Fabio Giachino’s piano moves freely, alternately threading through and cutting across the pulse. David Strike and Manu Melero Amaya bring movement that resists the obvious, allowing groove to exist without being locked in place. The result isn’t about merging styles but letting them exist in the same space–sometimes in harmony, sometimes in friction, always in motion.

Futurepast presents a new release from Spanish producer and DJ Eduardo De La Calle. “Kardama” emerged as the winter of 2022 bled into 2023, a period where he’d actually been producing more downtempo works. As a reflective work, De La Calle processes emotions and thoughts with analog methods, reverse delays and pedals on “Kardama”. The emotions that he holds close to himself show up in the detail that sits deeper within each track.

Eduardo makes his return to Nonplus with the Sensitive Compartmented Information EP. Eduardo is one of techno’s most dedicated underground legends and continues on a path unaffected by fads or fashions. Following on from his Sequoia Symposium in April last year again we have a 4 tracker exploring the deep realms of techno.
For the 5th installment in the Planet Rhythm White series, Spanish hardware icon ”Eduardo De La Calle” returns to Planet Rhythm with his ”Adept to the light EP”. ”TR3B Conspiracy” serves as the opener which combines odd rhythmic arps and subtly placed drum sequences to make a somewhat uncanny atmosphere. On the B side we find ”Ranchor Will Cut The Mood” which is a repetitive techno cut that should be useful for after hours. The Doubt Of The Unknown (B2) has a somewhat foreboding title. It’s a FX heavy synth jam that uses oddball synthesis and nicely placed FX chains that evolve throughout.
Spell PETS backwards to get STEP. Spell STEP forwards to find PETS going back to basics. STEP is the new concept vinyl only label from the founder of PETS, Catz ‘N Dogz, that highlights the rawest forms and root functions of quality club music. STEP finds the fundamental groove with undertheradar house and techno that is isn’t afraid to be rough around the edges. STEP is limited promo and all about the music. Each new STEP will be released every four months on vinyl only.
Eduardo De La Calle returns to Cadenza with the ‘Anima Animus’ single, coupling two tracks of refined techno for your listening pleasure. Taking inspiration from the psychologist/philosopher Carl Jung’s concept of anima and animus (and do take the time to explore this), Eduardo marries arpeggiated synths and melodic chords with a soft kick and tantalizing hats, producing a slick piece of reflective techno that’s alive with melody and groove. On ‘North Pole’, we get more of the signature ‘De La Calle’ sound; subaquatic bass and searing, melancholic strings play out over a steady mechanical beat, nodding its head not only to the Detroit masters but also to the European New Wave sounds that influenced the Motor City artists in the first instance.
As the dust settles on Eduardo de la Calle’s most successful year to date the Spanish super-producer propels into the new year with another broad, rich statement of musical intent: this time on UNCAGE. Eduardo delivered a wonderful EP and he’s done so with three beautiful original compositions ranging from cosmic techno to velvet jazz and subdued, poignant house.

The MNS X series returns for its 4th issue with one from the Spainard mystic: Eduardo De La Calle. Featuring full EPs from the label artists, the MNS X series plays in the field of the analog, acid and techno. For this, Eduardo De La Calle has put forward a tougher stance from his other silky productions, heading into the rough, analogue and raw terrain for Midnight Shift. The result packs a punch, rounded up with a remix by Hodge.
