Mathematics staple Giorgio Luceri comes with another positive emotive filled release with long time industry vocalist and musical innovator Greg Fore (Dream 2 Science) on the ”All That We See Or Seem” EP.

Mathematics & Steve Poindexter presents Chicago native aboriginal househead Scientifictodd. “Feel Some Type Of Way” features classic house with a side of grind and tight pump grooves.

The 105th record on Mathematics, freeform electronic artist Hieroglyphic Being aka Jamal Moss offers a selection of audio memoirs (Cosmic Bebop & Experimental House). ”The Language of Strings” features sonic madness, frequency enlightenment, & Hedonistic modulation.

On ”Portal To Canis”, Chicago’s Radius aka Ramon Norwood serves up 4 tracks of House with a downtempo/electro sensibility. ”A Dash Of Acid” and ”Seperated” kick off the A side, ”Women Are The Gateways…” continues the party on the flip.

Jamal Moss and Steve Poindexter return with 3 tracks of straight bugged-out freakness and manic drum mechanics. ‘The Inbearable Tension’ on the A side is a tweaked-out acid stomper, while ‘The Release’ and the title track back off slightly…but not much!

On ‘Azimuthal Equidistanta’ Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being & The Configurative Or Modular Me Trio serve up 3 tracks on limited colored vinyl. The title track is a jackin’ phaser workout, while ‘Discotic Compuserve’ is minimal bleep at it’s best and ‘How Far Back..’ is a contemplative lowbit riddim!

Steve Poindexter and Jamal Moss return as The Faces of Drums banging those classic Gherkin style vibes and deep chaotic sound motions with a twist of off-kilter acid to finish you off in the classic Mathematics way.

Dimdj of Audio Atlas comes with 5 fresh tracks on Mathematics. Ranging from the acid attack of ”Crash 3” to the downtempo funk of ”Temple Of The Mountain” and covering lots of territory in between.

Africans With Mainframes return with ”Faces Of Africa Pt. II” in the series of Deep House and Acid Chicago sounds. Think Guidance or Large records from the mid-90’s.

Noleian Reusse and Jamal Moss team up again as Africans With Mainframes for ”Faces Of Africa EP”. Think early Ibadan or Smile records B-sides of murky excursions in Tribal and Techno.

Returning for another spastic floor beating with jack tracks and Gherkin acid experiments from Steve Poindexter and Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being, this 3rd Faces of Drums EP on Mathematics does not disappoint.

Jamal Moss doesn’t mess around. The legendary Chicagoan is impressively prolific, and seemingly able to knock out a new album or double EP in a matter of days, rather than weeks or months. Cosmic Bebop is his latest set of no-nonsense jack tracks; an eight-track assault on the senses forged from dusty old drum machines, occasional blasts of distant melody, and all manner of mind-altering special effects. It’s pretty much what you’d expect from Moss, and for the most part sits in the folder marked “box jams”. It’s a proper past perspective of works (1996-2014) from Jamal Moss of obscure experimental releases of unique analog sounds reissued other his other popular known alias.

Second EP on Mathematics from Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being and Deviere ”Ghetto Sketches EP” is an experimental fusion of Jazz/Deep House/Black Noise Art Rebellion that will invoke mental incantations of fever.

Jamal Moss AKA Hieroglyphic Being with the Gherkin inspired treats. Combining tracks from CDR releases, of the same name, that were circulating at the end of 2015.

John Heckle is back on Mathematics with this 4 track EP. Bringing back some serious textures and sequence in sonic mentalism. “It’s a Chicago thang don’t be confused or afraid.”

“I Know U Have Wings” EP feats 4 tracks from one of Mathematics’ main artists, Giorgio Luceri. A serious deep textured beating EP for the serious dance floor movers & shakers.

One of the hidden artistic gems on Mathematics comes with another solo project of high class, jump up, movement on floor sounds.

While Larry Heard only ever produced two 12″ singles under the Gherkin Jerks alias, the ragged acid tracks featured in those EPs have been hugely influential. Certainly, they made a lasting impression on Jamal Moss, who earlier this year decided to record a bunch of tracks inspired by Heard’s infamous blend of rugged drum machine rhythms, twisted acid lines, and heart-aching deep house touches. 4 This Is My Gherkin Life Volume 3 continues where installments one and two left off, delivering eight more killer machine jams which temper Moss’s usual balls-out approach to Chicagoan acid with a few melancholic, melodious touches. The result is another impressive set of analogue box jams, from the bass-heavy bounce of the intoxicating “Track 8”, to the spacey electronics and Detroit drums of “Track 5”.
