For the fourth instalment of SCB remix EPs from Hotflush, Mor Elian and Hammer step up for their own interpretations of tracks from Caibu. Fever AM label co-founder and hybrid club producer Mor Elian provides a spaced out take on ‘Fish Bowl’ full of angular drums and woozy synths. For his take on ‘Test Tubes’, Hammer formulates a steady groover for the after hours.
Returning to Hypercolour with the ‘Persona Non Grata’ EP, Mor Elian continues to flourish with four killer cuts of electro and techno infused goodness. Following 2016’s ‘Drum Vortex’ EP, Elian has clocked up superb releases for Delta Funktionen’s Radio Matrix label, Delft and her very own Fever AM imprint. On the ‘Persona Non Grata’, Elian serves up dusty electro beats, icy synths, headsy techno flavours and bottom end funk.
Mor Elian hits Radio Matrix with the 4 track ‘Fairplex Drive EP’. A classy deep cerebral electro excursion that acts as the soundtrack for a journey through lifelike landscapes towards nighttime city drives slowly moving into desolate deserts dwells and ending in fallout.

Fever AM comes from a Berlin connection between a pair of artists with roots on either side of the Mediterranean Sea and on both sides of the Atlantic. Label founders Mor Elian and Rhyw (one half of Cassegrain) share many musical reference points reaching back to early childhood right up to the present including the deeper, darker reaches of electronic music. The label is the pair s rawest and truest realisation of these influences. The first EP will be from Elian, a sublime 4 tracker that has matured after a winter in the studio and is now ready for club play – from heating up peak time dance floors to trippier after hours moments. Sprinkling her trademark stripped back sound with electro and breakbeats the release sets out the label s stall to release vibrant, challenging dance floor music.
DeepLabs is a Detroit based record label run by Luke Hess focusing on Detroit influenced techno for the dance-floor and in return building a strong community of likeminded artists.
