Titletrack Warehousing is a constantly forward thrusting jacktechno track that builds to a warm string climax. A great combination of melancholy introvert feels and deep bounding bass. In Stowage Syncom Data take on a beatless electronic flight into distorted vinyl and synth territory. The whole b-side is for Ekstasis, a 13,5 minutes relentless acidsynth techno bomb for destroying some dancefloors. This live recorded track constantly evolves and builds and builds and builds.

This Time Around is the long awaited follow-up to the succesful Probe album by Roswell Return. The original is a mesmerizing piece of minimal electronic music, heavily inspired by composer Steve Reich. More than 10 minutes of pure synth bliss. On the b-side Syncom Data take it into deep techno territory with a shuffling and ridiculously low-end remix that’s both warm and unsettling at the same time. Deep basslines keep pushing everything forward, while the constantly rising church-like organ brings a nervous mayhem quality to it.

Here comes the second of two new bass-infected dub EPs from Japan’s Mystica Tribe on the Syncom Data label. Title track ‘Stars Are Mine’ has a prickly dub atmospheres, with lurching bass and odd effects combing to great effect. ‘His Temple’ is indeed both tribal and mystical, like some dub excursion to a clearing deep in side the jungle. Dark and moody, it’s evocative stuff. ‘Prayer’ then evolves around a catchy melody that won’t leave your head for days, ‘Zen Stone’ rounds out the EP nicely on a gloomy sci trip. It’s an interesting and unfamiliar world in which Mystic Tribe lives, and he soundtracks it beautifully.

First of two new bassheavy techno-ish dub EP’s by Mystica Tribe. Four tracks of excellent electronic dub with heavy techno and acid influences. Although only his second release after his debut in 2011 with ”Meditation Stick” the Japanese Mystica Tribe already delivers a powerful trademark sound: loose, shuffling beats, layered with heavy basses, tribal percussion and trippy elements, like the dark acid tale on titletrack ”Flowers” and the classic melodica stabs on ”Fractale” and ”Moon & Stone”. Tokyo Dub at it’s best.
