Roberto Bosco – Good Lover EP [FALKPLATZ005]

GOOD LOVER EP (STEFFI REMIX)

Falkplatz present the new EP from Roberto Bosco. For Falkplatz Roberto produced two tracks, that catch the ears of Housefanatics (Good Lover) as well as the hearts of the Technolunatics (Untitled). Remixes this time come from Panorama Bar resident Steffi, who gave the original a touch of Oldschool and sadness and from The Falkplatz Conspiracy (Oliver Deutschmann & Ed Davenport) who mixed a crafty acid influenced warehouse banger out of the original.

With her debut artist album, “Yours & Mine”, we discover an even further developed producer in Steffi. Steffi shares with us her personal journey. A long period of intense experimentation and self-discovery led to this sensitive, instinctive and extremely insightful long-player. Carefully mixing old and new, warm analog synth and drum textures flow in unison with modern studio finesse over nine tracks, each telling its own story.

Steffi – Reasons EP [UQ034]

disc
Steffi presents her first on Underground Quality, release entitled the Reason EP. “Reasons” has all the emotion, beauty and radiance of any of its peers, tugging at the heart strings like only the best can. “Fallin'” cruises along softly, but with speed and intent. That typical U.Q bass sound is correct and good along with the amazing ‘wood-bloc synth’. The EP is closed by “November”, a tune with a chord progressions sound, restrained, glowing keys stimulate all the right senses while a chugging kick keeps us bouncing along happily.
