Mysterious shadows, sensual formations and intransparent depths rewrite the fourth baud release of Ryo Murakami from Tokyo.The A-side is launched by the title track “Underworld”, which is evident in an appealing soundscape by classical and contemporary dub elements.Also on the front side is the playful “Night dew”. Swirled iridescent synths attend to the atmospheric and unexplored morning dew.“Closer” opens the B-side with a gentle, bubbling acidline that rounds off the background with jacking swinging moments,Like an enchanted, dark veil “Fog” appears on the back side, by building up strings into unsearchable depths.

Tom Trago will drop his second album this spring, called “Iris”. “Shutters” is thought as a teaser track to whet your appetite and get you in the mood for the long player. “Shutters” is a simmering, soul-drenched and summerish funk tune.

In a time when traditional record shops are dying every day and the vinyl seems to be seriously overtaken by the digital media, faceless labels and artist are starting to flourish. An other example, in this direction, is the new mysterious label Stablo, which have just release they first EP with some underground sounds from an unknown artist. The EP, called No. 9999, includes two untitled tracks with a unique dubby house style, ready to hypnotize the listener or the dancer. This release has every single copy hand-stamped and individually numbered and you can find it in very limited numbers.
