The first release from Christian Prommer’s new Drumlesson album Drumlesson Zwei takes the Munich-based DJ and producer’s inspired fusion of techno and jazz, digital and analogue, to a new level of excellence. The Munich-based collective creates electro-organic cover versions of Knights of Jaguar, the legendary techno classic by DJ Rolando and Underground Resistance’s Mad Mike Banks and Groove La Chord by the Stockholm-based Aril Brikha.

Nice first release with The Hague, Bunker sounding tracks with flirts to italo disco and electro. A sound that is ‘retro-ish’ late 90’s (1999?) just before electro clash became so big.

The voyage continues. With this Out Takes release Tom Trago delivers two new dance floor tracks that were created during his Voyage Direct project.

Chaircrusher is a computer programmer & musician, founding member of Iowa’s premiere dance promotion crew ROTATION. In addition to dance-oriented tracks, also works with Iowa City’s own TACK FU Productions on their well-regarded underground hip-hop productions. Remixes from Sead Deason, Andrew Duke, Chris O’Grady, Dave Powers and Mike Perkowitz.

Aufgang – the trio comprised of classically trained Francesco Tristano and Rami Khalifé, along with drummer and percussionist Aymeric Westrich are causing quite a fuss with their eponymous long-player on Agoria’s Infine´ imprint. The remix package kicks it off with a customarily jacking tech re-rub from Robert Hood. Meanwhile, youthful French experimentalist Mondkopf turns in a slo-mo, electronica-drenched remix. The Ep is closed by Hamburg trio Wareika’s 11.50 minute deep workout.

Norman Nodge and Wincent Kunth are on remix duty for these tracks of his forthcoming album. Proper stripped down berlin techno tracks.

His new EP for Uzuri will only enhance his reputation even further – four tracks for brains in basements that thump and glide and scream of a man with a big future ahead of him. Crisp drums and synths dissolve into super strong acid on A1 cut “CP1”. On A2 Confusion comes over like something Morgan Geist didn’t make in 1995 but should have done. B1 track “Acid” is the heaviest cut of the four. A massive twenty-first century Armando monument that will ruin any discerning dance floor it encounters. B2 track Glasswerks sounds as clear and clean as its name suggests, with chimes and a thoroughbred old school Chicago beat and bass.

Belfast’s Ric McClelland, AKA Scope, announces his latest EP for NRK Music, “Frequencies”, and the Poker Flat and Dessous label boss, Steve Bug, has added a remix to the already solid package, out next month.

The considerably epic ‘We Are’ fuses classic elements of tweaking acid, bright jacking drums and an extended, open-ended arrangement that floats atop a choir of celestial rave angels…! Built for cavernous techno meccas, or up-close and personal basement sweat-boxes alike. In comparison the deep house tones of ‘I Feel The Sense’ retain the excellent production values that we’ve come to expect from this pair, and take a trip down a dubbed and shuffling melodious path.

After releases on Ostwind, Musik gewinnt Freunde, Trenton, Kostbar etc, here’s the next big strike from the Italian duo!

Yojik-ConCon is a new Romanian label inducing a contemporary concept of music making which works against current stylistic conventions. Crossing limits and voiding thresholds between strict musical principles, the label’s owner Petre Inspirescu intends to contemplate innovative experimentation upon sound’s mood and motion.Electronic merges with other genres through subtlety and simplicity, allowing the music to inhabit variety of implementations, despite dance. His first release under a new name ‘Tt Ensemble’, introduces his new project and invites to reevaluate the contemporary musical attributes.

The fourth in a series of twelves highlighting the diverse and pioneering sounds of the amazing, off-kilter electronic music label, Mathematics. Another solid addition to the Mathematics institution: Le Matin, Kelton Prima, Takeshi Kouzuki, and Stabil Elite. A mix of industrial, r&b dance, acid house and Italo disco.

Fachwerk has been coming along nicely in the last few months. Sascha Rydell’s debut for the label is four killer, stripped down techno tracks. Quite hard to follow the Mike Dehnert release, but the young Sascha has pulled it off!

French dubstep producer F presents his debut album with the dense and haunting “Energy Distortion”, one chaser through the vastness of empty space. 7EVEN has released some brilliant techno-dubstep crossover material by the likes of F and Helixir over the last year.

Willie Graff and Tuccillo make a very welcome return to Freerange with another peak time production. This time they’ve added a killer remix from house legend Chez Damier.
