Anthony Rother – Future Kids [self released]

‘Future Kids’ was self-released by Anthony Rother at the end of December, and received already a lot of interest from our readers. Rother says he tries to follow with this album an other idea of Electro, a variant of Technobeat-Electro and as he says the inspiration for this album came after hearing DJ MELL G at the Mechatronica label night at the Human Club in Barcelona 2024.

Filmmaker – Great Tribulations [self released]

The third album from the list, ‘Great Tribulations’, is also self-released on bandcamp and comes from the Columbian artist Filmmaker.

With “Days of Sorrow, The Remixes” Banshees Records gaved another twist to the songs of the legendary 80’s German group, Days of Sorrow, with a double vinyl of remixes featuring internationally artists such as Alpha Sect, Black Merlin, Carlos GrabStein, Chris Shape, David Carretta, Israel Padilla, JG Outsider, Love The Machine, Parissior, Skelesys, Spammerheads and Synths Versus Me. The German band’s sound is reinterpreted, giving it a more electronic touch, focused largely on the dance floor. vinyl

Yarrow Ballet V​​​.​​​A. 02 [Yarrow Ballet]

Yarrow Ballet is a Rotterdam based label founded in 2023 by Ofra. This is a temperamental twelve track compilation traversing from moody experimental electronics to dark industrial sounds, post punk and gloomy synth wave.

The Exaltics – Das Heise Experiment (The Remixes) [Solar One Music]

Big electro remix package featuring ADULT., Arpanet, Gesloten Cirkel and K1 on Solar One Music for The Exaltics. A nice divers package on colored vinyl with strong remix jobs by some established names. K1 aka Keith Tucker being one of the pioneers of Detroit Electro and Techno, followed by fellow Detroit artists Adult. & Arpanet, and a very solid remix by Gesloten Cirkel. vinyl

Asymetric80 – Rara Avis [Oraculo Records]

The techno trance wizard Asymetric80 on Oraculo Records shows his unique vision of what a banger should be: powerful low drums and mesmerizing melodies dancing around the perfect bass to energize any dancefloor.

The summer of 2024 was the first one without the much regreted Digital Tsunami’s DT Camp and the Sonidos Subterraneos podcast recorded by Times New Roman, one of the founders of Digital Tsunami, is the favorite mix for our readers.

Alessandro Parisi @ Intergalactic FM Festival 2024

Alessandro Parisi, a great artist and person, provided in the first day of IFM 2024 festival one of the best performances of the whole festival.

Marsman @ Italorator, Operator 20.02.2024

Marsman, the man behind Pinkman Records, started one year ago the Italorator series on Operator radio from Rotherdam and this series was a continous source of great music for us during 2024. And it seems that also for our followers.
