The Exaltics – Retrospective [SOM055]

The Exaltics need no further introduction, operating since 15 years now and become one of the stalwarts of the international underground electro scene. Robert Witschakowski-Jockel founded the project The Exaltics in 2006 as well as the electro/ techno label SolarOneMusic with his long term friend Nico Jagiella. Since then he published countless 12″s and several LP’s with labels like Clone, Creme Organization, Bunker or his own label SolarOneMusic and worked during that time with outstanding artists like Drexciya’s Gerald Donald, Helena Hauff or the legendary Martin Gore from Depeche Mode. He turned his deep cinematic and most of all charismatic electro into his own trademark. The collection contains 13 Tracks recorded between 2009-2019 including tracks from long out stock titles first time on vinyl. Probably the best overview over the world of The Exaltics.

Gesloten Cirkel – 185 [SOM54]

GESLOTEN CIRKEL - 185

Powerful Ep from Gesloten Cirkel. Comes with banging The Exaltics remix. Cult techno maverick Gesloten Circle sure knows how to rewire brains with his fizzing, caustic concoctions. This new one on Solar One Music is another case in point. Right from the off on ‘Halfman’ he is laying down jacked up drums, coruscated baselines and flashes of metallic synth that bristle with energy. ‘185’ is a twitchy, acid laced electro workout with robot vocals bring the cyborg funk and The Exaltics remix then hits harder and deeper on stiffer bass. There is still time for two more jams on the flip – the dystopian acid-electro of ‘Quiker’ and stark industrial electro of ‘Sequence Slip.’

The Exaltics & Helena Hauff – Futuros EP [SOM052]

The Exaltics invites Helena Hauff for a collaboration on Solar One Music. A1 starts with a short eerie intro and after that they come straight to the point with an UFO electro techno stomper with vocals from Helena. The flip side is floating around with alot of echoes and delays melodies and 303s, Helena’s beautiful voice and this special old school feeling.

The Exaltics & Heinrich Mueller – Dimensional Shifting [SOM051]

Four years after their almighty collaboration on “Project STS-31 (Hubble Telescope Series Vol.3)”, Solar One Music’s cofounder Robert Witschakowski and half of Dopplereffekt duo Gerald Donald return with another cosmic album of their instantly recognizable trademark. Featuring ten detailed and luminous cuts of beautifully crafted emotional music, with deep narrative over tough machine groove, the opus takes you on a moody trip across craggy soundscapes made of abrasive tones, crossing the red line between tight-strapped melodic waves, subaquatic underground electro, and intricate structures. Expect nothing but stripped down layers mixed with chunky synthetic bass lines and stellar melodies over pounding 808 drums on this future classic tinted with nostalgia. Built as a journey through unknown territories, much anticipating “Dimensional Shifting” oscillates between moments of bravery on the dancefloor and moody sequences, keeping intact the aesthetic signature of the Jena-based electro emissary and the legend from Detroit.

The Exaltics feat. Rudolf Klorzeiger – Das Heise Experiment 2 – The Prequel [SOM044]

EXALTICS, The - Das Heise Experiment 2 (The Prequel)

The Exaltics are back with new transmissions from their universe in form of the second part of “Das Heise Experiment”. The first part from 2013 on Abstract Acid will see his follow up end of 2017 on 2xLP inclusive a Comic book about the story of the Heise Experiment. This amazing looking shape picture disc, developed with the dutch artist Godspill aka Mehdi Rouchiche, is “The Prequel” release and sees The Exaltics in assault mode. Side A brings a stomper in typical exaltics style with deep strings and a pumping bassline like an alien invasion which is on course to earth. Side B begins with a cryptic alien speech signal transmitted direct from the universe whilst the second track is a collaboration track with non other than Dopplereffekt’s Rudolf Klorzeiger. Both artists together create a timeless electro voyage with sharp snares and fast running basslines and combine their both styles perfectly together. Every record comes with a download code for the release itself and 3 exclusive bonus tracks. This release is strictly limited to 500 copies. The outer contour of the picture is also the contour of the record and makes this release to something really special and to a high collectable item.
