Anthony Rother – EXIT UTOPIA [self released]

‘EXIT UTOPIA’ is by far the album of 2025 most appreciated by our visitors, even though is was just released at the end of December.

The Egyptian Lover – 1987 [Egyptian Empire]

The second alsum comes from another veteran, The Egyptian Lover. Staying true to his signature 80s west-coast electro sound, his album 1987 echos classics of his like ‘Egypt, Egypt’ and Thebes of them all, ‘I Need a Freak’, by blending signature Roland 808 beats with Kraftwerk and hip-hop influences. vinyl

Elektrokohle – Kalt Wie Du Bist LP [Oráculo Records]

The third album from the list is Elektrokohle’s debut album released by Catalan Label Oráculo Records. This album is a masterclass in future punk sound; it couldn’t be more powerful or punchy, being a great legacy to actual and future generations interested in furious music. vinyl

Top 3 EPs

Sharif Abu Ammar – Volume 1 [New Romanian Weird]

Surprisingly the most appreciated EP in 2025 is coming from Romanian independent label New Romanian Weird. Sharif Abu Ammar is a sonic agitator, cultural theorist and elusive musician who emerged from the late ‘80s transnational acid house circuits. Blurring the lines between history, memory, secrecy, and the future, he was raised between the shadow of colonial histories and the neon glare of global capitalism. His work fuses decolonial critique and the commodification of underground music, subverting both the hedonism of the scene and the exotifying gaze of the West.

Absent Corps – Life Elsewhere [Oráculo Records]

Catalan label Oráculo Records again, this time with ‘Life Elsewhere’ an EP produced by Absent Corps aka Oriol Cebrian, rounded by an Asymetric80 remix. vinyl

JG Outsider – Cruzier [Oráculo Records]

And Oráculo takes it all with the third appearance in this list. JG Outsider delivers his unique blend of twisted modern EBM, advanced industrial, and power electronics. He’s joined by Nightcrawler and Spammerheads with two dancefloor-filling remixes. listen

Top 3 Recordings

Pastram @ Intergalactic FM Festival 2025

Happy to see that Pastram’s recording from Intergalactic FM Festival is the most looked after mix in 2025 by our visitor. We where lucky enough to experience this live in Pip’s Bunker and we also had the great please to have hosted Pastram at one of our Phonic Riot parties last year. Looking forward to catch up hit him in the future.

RA.1000 Theo Parrish

Next we have RA.1000 with a 3 hours live recording of Theo Parrish at fabric London, a vanishingly rare club mix from the king of deep crates and impossible transitions.

DimDJ @ Intergalactic FM Festival 2025

The third one is also a live recording, also from Intergalactic FM Festival and also we where there to witness it live. It’s the Greek master from Thessaloniki, DimDJ.

Top 3 Romanian Productions

Cosmjn – Nights in Itaewon [Path]

The most appreciated Romanian productions is ‘Nights in Itaewon’ by Cosmjn. Across four tracks, he explores a wide spectrum of sounds, from techno and breaks to deep and atmospheric cuts. Each piece stands out with its own character while keeping a strong coherence throughout the EP. A record finely crafted for the dancefloor. vinyl

DYL – Achordat 001 [Achordat ]

Achordat begins as an open entity shifting, adaptive, ready to take new forms. DYL introduces this with four pieces: three solo experiments and a collaboration with Roberta, captured on a Sunday morning of spontaneous creation. Each track opens a different angle, together sketching the first outline of a label built on movement and transformation. vinyl

Andrew Red Hand – For My Father EP [Time Passages]

Closing out 2025 Readers List is Andrew Red Hand with his Time Passages four-track ‘For My Father’ EP, offering his most focused and expansive vision yet. To make it even more serious the EP includes a remix from an icon of the scene, DJ Hell. vinyl

Thank you again for your support and looking forward to see what 2026 will bring.
