Mannequin Records presents Chromium – Something in the Air (The Hacker Club Mix), a thrilling reinterpretation by legendary French producer The Hacker. Originally composed by Chromium in the early ‘90s, this track is part of the Chromium Industries (1991-1992) collection—an essential archive of forward-thinking electronic music, bridging proto-techno, industrial, and EBM. With his signature touch, The Hacker injects a darkly hypnotic energy into “Something in the Air”, transforming it into a peak-time club weapon, while staying true to the spirit of the original.
“No Fear” is the first of two highly anticipated new EP’s from Days of Sorrow. Featuring the hauntingly beautiful single “Tears”, this release encapsulates the band’s signature blend of post-punk and dark wave, full of raw emotion and atmospheric soundscapes that defined their 80s legacy. “No Fear “also includes a revamped version of the classic 1984 track “War”, creating a new and modern perspective to the timeless anthem. Reflecting the rich musical heritage of Anatolia, this track combines traditional melodies with contemporary funk rhythms, and the use of traditional instruments such as the bağlama, lively bass lines, and farfisa organ riffs, creating a unique fusion with a modern sound. This tracks again captures that nostalgic atmosphere by using instruments and recording techniques reminiscent of that period. French DJ and producer The Hacker debuts on Radio Slave’s Rekids. The two-track ‘Laser & Smoke’ EP harkens back to The Hacker’s early 90s roots in Detroit-inspired Electro & Techno. First, he starts with ‘Turborave’, a tasteful, bleepy cut with an unignorable bassline and muted dub chords that wash over its snappy groove. ‘Turborave’ is the kind of heads-down, lose-yourself dancefloor moment for the later hours before ‘Harmonia’ sees The Hacker play with high-voltage cables on the B-side. Charged-up zaps and zippy acid call and respond while bodied drum hits keep the rhythm moving, whistles and pads occasionally joining in.
The second outing of Johannes Volk for Running Back picks up, where Extra Dimensions left us: traditional techno components, an inclination for melodies, 80s electro(nic) pop and aesthesia for ecstasy.

Dennis Liber & Lex (Athens) step up to Rocksteady Disco with the Club Eden EP. Named after the party series in Tulum, Mexico, the record is a musical journey inspired by the community and creativity that flourished at the intimate party series that brought together global rhythms, cultural exchange, and a shared sense of freedom, connection, and celebration. It was at one of these gatherings that Dennis invited Peter Croce, the founder of Rocksteady Disco, and Lex to play and share the decks. Their connection was immediate, and the experience led to lasting friendships. This bond eventually brought the Club Eden project full circle, with Peter and his label helping to bring this record to the world. The record captures the essence of those unforgettable nights, where music, community, and magic intertwined.
