DsorDNE – Lontano Da Dove? [DTLSND010]

DSORDNE - Lontano Da Dove?

‘Lontano Da Dove?’ by DsorDNE is a four-track LP written and recorded between 1996 and 1999 – at Acqualuce studio in Alpignano, Torino – by the mind of Marco Milanesio and Luciano Gelormino. Additional guitars were provided by Danilo Beltrame on piano zeroquattro (extended) and vocals by Snowdonia founder Cinzia La Fauci. It was conceived to be released at the time but only a few promo copies were distributed. After about 20 years, the original recordings, which were considered lost, were found by Marco, who remastered them in his O.F.F studio and brought it back to life. The all album is an organic work, who mash spoken ethereal voices and dubby basslines with tr-909 beats, borrowing elements from trip hop, techno and industrial.

A Hand – Slow Injection EP [DTLSND008]

After leaving his noise-soaked techno signature on Details Sound with the uncompromising ‘Informations’ 12”, A Hand is returning to the label with a healthy dose of enigmatically crafted sounds, made to stick in your head and body intensely. On ‘Breakline’, a hunting dark bassline is backed by relentless drum patterns cut with machine gun precision. ‘For A Better End’ takes off into a swirling atmosphere propelled by anti-gravity beats. ‘Slow Injection’ expands further into dense and obscure realms of electrified experiments. The wandering ‘Your Lost Dreams’ carries us to a breathtaking conclusion filled with abstract suspension.

ASSS – 100 EP [DTLSND006]

At first sight, ‘100 EP’ is the most abrasive techno output of Portland duo ASSS. Alex Smith and Sean Sumler have crafted an excellent four-track assault of propulsive drum sounds filled with industrial textures. Across the frequencies of ‘101’ to ‘104’, dense dynamics and unpredictable manipulation of modules reflect their own spontaneous, improvisational style into a new highly destructive release.

M//R – No Tag No Food EP [DTLSND005]

M//R aka Billy Werner is back with a strong bundle of four tracks, steadily making his mark on the scene of contemporary techno. This record is a proper electronic weapon, from the slowed down pounding impulse of total burner ‘No Tag No Food’ to the suspended rhythm of atmospheric ‘Idyll’ which brings the listener into a gravity-free dimension.
