Dance Mécanique EP: Unleashing the Pulse of the Mechanized Symphony. Embark on a sonic journey through the labyrinthine landscapes of machinery with Alpha Sect’s upcoming EP, “Dance Mécanique.” This vinyl release, destined to echo through the underground, serves as a pulsating manifesto against the encroaching takeover of our world by cold, relentless machines. In Meredith, Alpha Sect crafts a sonic portrait of a world on the verge of mechanization. His haunting voice, draped in delay and reverb effects, weaves seamlessly with the beats of EBM and the cold melodies of Post-Punk. This sonic tapestry creates a hypnotic soundscape that mirrors the evolving relationship between man and machine. Dance Mécanique, the titular track, unravels the dance of humanity entrapped in the mechanized rhythm of everyday life. Here, the gritty beats of EBM and ethereal echoes of Coldwave serve as a mirror reflecting how, at times, we move mechanically, lost in the repetitive motions of a world dominated by cold efficiency.

Dalmata Daniel welcomes Filmmaker and Petros Spatharos for the eighth part of their split series. This obscure 3-3 track vinyl is the debut of the Columbian music maker on the label. However, for the Athens-based producer it’s a return after his participation on “Dalmata Daniel eats Lahmacun” compilation. But this project isn’t their first collaboration, because Petros released his first album on Body Musick, Filmmaker’s own imprint.

Happy707 have their vinyl debut, and it is well worth the wait. For years the Buenos Aires pair have been electrifying dancefloors far and wide, now their brand of electronics is set to infect even more speaker cones. With a unique style that meshes ebm, industrial, techno and wave, ‘Escupir Un Burgues’ is an addictive furore for the senses. From the energy packed “Cyber Chase”, the listener is pulled through the fog and the strobe of “El Extranjero” and into the headfirst thump of “Las Bolas.” Distant vocals and stuttering percussion are pivotal in the stripped bare title piece. Stammering synthlines and shattering snares rail and rage in the bold body music of “Magic Wave.” The curtain fall comes care of “Ultraman Theme.” Beats are emboldened, tempos race in this tongue in cheek slalom of laser beam melodies and videogames memories.

The fifth Kri release was produced by a New York based producer Richard Gamble. Dream Sequence EP explores the boundaries between mutated Wave, Minimal Synth, and EBM in search of a perfect loop and the most epic melody. A dim and moisty atmosphere is often cut by a ray of light but you can’t be sure if it’s just a flashing strobe. Three original tracks command absolute attention on the dancefloor or on the sofa and are accompanied by a Violet Poison remix.

Optimo Music presents the new EP from Facets. EBM has become a much abused term in recent times but here are some tracks exploring that EBM DNA where the creator 100% knows that history and what they are doing. Taking that knowledge and bringing that sound right up to date.

Colombian producer Faunes Efe known under his moniker Filmmaker, is one of the most productive and vital producers in the EBM, Industrial, Synth-wave and Electro community. He has quickly build a cult following amongst those with an affinity for dystopian electronics drenched in seductive darkness. Filmmaker keeps running engines with “Machinations”, a mini-album containing 7 cuts that blast a mechanical blend of Electroclash and Minimal Synth. This ride of prominent square waves, robotic beats and detuned atmospheres is born from mainly two instruments: a Syntakt & a processed guitar.

Gonçalo Salgado, better know for his Lake Haze project, returns with the third release for his Eye For An Eye Recordings.

Elusive techno silhouette Yaleesa Hall drops three new ones for their very own label Will & Ink. High-tempo techno and electro with the occasional sprinkling of EBM essence, this trio of tunes are as jackhammery as they are dreamy, with ‘Newman’ providing the gloomy foretaste; ‘Shanks’ the dreamy, electrified meat-on-the-bone; and ‘Williams’ the rapturous coda. Forever pushing the envelope, Hall hits with rapid fire, synth heavy techno to glitching, low-end electro and atmospheric electronica.

Schicksal is the alias of Rudi Huybrechts from Belgium. Heavily inspired by Front 242 first album “Geography”, DAF’s elektronische körpermusik “Alles Ist Gut” and of course Kraftwerk’s “Man Machine” and “Computer World”, Rudi bought his first Roland SH-101 synthesizer and started in 1982 with Schicksal to experiment with synths and drum computers. He spent lot of hours programming and composing on his bedroom and recording everything on a tape recorder. A selection of these old tracks are included on this album. You can definitely feel the vibe of this period and the place where the songs were created: the old industrial town of Hoboken, the culmination of the cold war and the aim of a young musician to combine melody and harmony into minimal electronic music.

Schicksal is the alias of Rudi Huybrechts coming from Hoboken, a small town near Antwerp. He started experimenting with synths and drum computers in 1982. Heavily inspired by Front 242 first album “Geography”, DAF’s elektronische körpermusik “Alles Ist Gut” and Kraftwerk’s “Man Machine” and “Computer World”, Rudi spent lot of hours programming and composing at home with just some gear and a tape recorder. Some of these tracks appeared on local compilations but it was not until the hype of New Beat in Belgium that Schicksal gained a real attention. In 1988 Rudi persuaded Marc Grouls, the resident DJ of discotheque Prestige in Antwerp, to play the track “24 hours”. All the people on the dancefloor just got wild and the next day Schicksal signed a contract with Maurice Engelen for the release of a maxi-single on Subway Records.

Northern Nightmares returns for a third instalment. Alongside the usual suspects, Up North welcomes some new blood to the party. NN III also has the honour of lifting the veil from Parrish Smith’s latest project, METAL! From Antonio’s blistering basselines to Eindkrak’s twisted rhythms, this intoxicating compilation will shatter speakers and clench fists.

The fourth chapter of the Kri discography was conceived in the cold northern parts of Europe by a well-seasoned electro producer and Gravitational Waves label owner, Dj Nephil. Sharp electro-minimalism on the Horizon Rising EP is ranging from hypnotic and subtle to a punkish kick in the arse. Lush textures, bitter-sweet acid, and thick bass lines are looking past trends to create a lasting record. Adding extra weight to this polar electro voyage are remixes by two among our favorite producers, Alonzo and Univac.
