Adrian Marth – MM CAST 16

We are starting this year’s retrospective with some “musical gifts” we discovered on the net. Music shared for free download / pay-what you want from artists and label we admire.
MoreItalo Moderni brings Xmas III Edizione it’s the third compilation on Digital. Quality mastering on that super rare italo-electro utterance, perfect for dancefloors or mixes. Another trippy strings and arps, throat singing and ecstatic chanting all around.
We have edits from the likes of Skatebard, Hysteric, Adrian Marth, Flemming Dalum, Franz Scala, Sneaker, Katmandu, Vinilette. All tracks have been carefully edited without overdubs, in order to bring the spirit of classic italo disco and reflect the real underground vibe from the age.
Italo Moderni brings Modernation Vol. 4 it’s the last compilation from 4 and this time on vinyl. We finish this compilation with the best quality in production with artists like Timothy J. Fairplay, Alessandro Adriani, Chino, Chupacabras, Leroy Se Meurt, Univac and Adrian Marth. The A-side sounds like a late-80s industrial EBM cut but with a strictly new future concept inside of each track, while the b-side goes more Electro eighties weird sounds strong with metallic beats perfect for the adventurous working DJ. Everything with that futuristic touch that surrounds us today in the electronic music scene.
The Electro Sound of Tel Aviv lands on Italo Moderni with a new EP from E-bony, one of the great music talents based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Hot electro beats focused on dance floors with energetics percussions giving way to warmer rhythms and 100% perfect for mixing in a really good moment of the night. To close the EP we have a madness remix from PRZ, one of the best electro producers at the moment, and to finalise a really crazy remix by Adrian Marth our boss label.

Last year I started this section for free/”name your price” music, that people or labels share on bandcamp or other platforms. Here is a selection of free music I came across this year.

After a few hours of sleep by midday we started our second day at Ombra. Ofra was already heating up the cold warehouse of the Operator Stage, offering one of the best dj sets from the festival.
Continue reading “Ombra 2021 – Day 2”Ombra is a project born from the hand of agency Ombra Agency and label Oraculo Records with the aim of creating a meeting place for lovers of analogue and avant-garde sounds that do not fit in the current cultural offer. The first edition was held in May 2018 in a club format, bringing together musical styles such as EBM, darkwave and industrial/experimental sounds.
In 2019 the festival took place in different areas of the city with industrial aesthetics. The idea is to combine heritage with music by creating a circuit in different spaces that can accommodate different offers. We’ve been at the festival in 2019 and definitely it was one of the best experiences for us.
Continue reading “Ombra Festival 2021 – Barcelona”The sea breeze, the smell of sunscreen, the first kiss of summer, the sunrises of an island, meals with friends in the sun, fruit in your hands, sky of stars, reflection of the sun in the sea, the nights of summer. Closing the summer with the new compilation of Italo Moderni ”Mellow Bangers” as the name says, italo bangers but with a very club touch, a touch of eternal summer.

Continue reading “Intergalactic FM Streaming Festival 2021 Recordings (Part 1)”With this joint venture between Wrong Era and Italo Moderni, label boss Adrian Marth brings it on with a five track EP including two killer remixes from Fabrizio Mammarella and Geneva Jacuzzi. Expect nothing but harsh basslines and filthy drums from the Barcelona based producer. His love for the classic sounds of italo, space, and cosmic disco of the 80’s comes perfectly together on this release. Geneva gives ‘’Hypnotic Eyes’’ a synth driven vocal pop rework that will hypnotize you from the start. Fabrizio instead, gives Adrian’s track ‘’Disorder’’ a peak time heavy edged remix, that will not disappoint you.
Death Decay Magic Remixes Vol. 1 draws on the first three releases from the label: Black Light Smoke “Lines & Shadows”, Daniel Holt “Traveler”, and Man 2.0, Black Light Smoke “Holy Hammer”. With remixes from The Hacker, Cardopusher and others, DDM05 hits hard with EBM and electro vibes.
Soil Records presents the third volume of Tears For Fears cassette compilation. The release includes 22 tracks from the likes of Adrian Marth, Anatolian Weapons, Chino, Crossover Network, Fragedis, Le Chocolat Noir, Ober Dada & Lera Foer, Sons Of Traders, Violet Poison and many more.
Italo Moderni brings Modernation Vol. 3 it’s third digital compilation. “We have edits from the likes of Marcello Giordani. Hysteric, Les Yeux Orange , Flemming Dalum, Adrian Marth etc. All tracks have been carefully edited without overdubs, in order to bring the spirit of classic disco to today’s dancefloors! in this bad situation we will adapt the edits to Name your price so everyone can buy music for free in this difficult times.”
