British producer Radondo makes a striking debut on Wrong Era with his EP, ‘Deluge’. His unique blend of influences, drawn from his time in the German Capital and inspirations within Italo Disco, creates a musical landscape that is both familiar and refreshing.

This compilation features 18 songs released on physical media in 2024 from artists on the Cold Transmission Music roster.

Hexagon – the sixth installment in our yearly compilation series – is here, bringing together six tracks that explore a range of powerful and intriguing musical directions. Clouzer kicks things off with a driving EBM monster, setting a bold tone right from the start. Next up, Gunce Aci delivers a high-tempo, hypnotic hard-hitter. Then, Radondo takes us in a darker direction with a haunting EBM piece that blends atmosphere with intensity, creating a sense of eerie tension. Ton Globiter follows with a high energy of a track, infused with his signature vocals that give the track an undeniable punch. Dream Days maintains the momentum, keeping the tensity high. Finally, KMBN wraps things up with an electro-tinged, leftfield track, offering a surprising and experimental finish to the compilation.

Prolific and versatile musician Bert Libeert brings his distinctive sound to Italo Moderni making his debut as B1980 with a hard-hitting 5-track Electro/EBM release, crafted to ignite the dancefloor.

Karolina Bnv returns to Wrong Era with ‘Yet To Come’ an industrial-infused, masterful exploration deeper into her ever unfolding sound. The sophisticated follow-up to ‘Lessons On Good Behaviour’ further enrichens our experience of her world. Opening with ‘Unforgivable Decisions, ‘ an aptly named track that holds its own amongst the industrial greats. Shimmering mechanisms and pulsating arps intertwine, building to harmonic swells and a ghostly vocal from the captivating tones of Karina Jilaz. ‘Germany Calling’ opens Karolina’s new beat intrigue with focused arps circling beneath a commanding vocal loop chanting the track’s title. Soft acid lines flutter across the mix, perfectly sitting on either side of the punctual snare. ‘Context Abuse’ bursts open the second half of the EP with defined bass and the distinct clattering of rimshots. A powerful homage to the sound of Belgium with refreshing flair. Karolina Bnv’s sophisticated palette is in full force, with her unmistakably ear-pricking melodics and vocal lines. ‘Yet to Come’ closes with ‘1988’ an infectious Acid House anthem that weaves between New-Beat and Detroit House. Karolina Bnv brings her sophisticated sounds and undeniable strengths to Wrong Era once again, broadening her horizons with skillful taste.

“Grand Virage” is the first single from SIIE’s upcoming debut album Acmé, set for release in April 2025 on Cold Transmission Music. This darkwave electro track invites listeners on a haunting, introspective journey, featuring driving synths, mesmerizing melodies, and evocative French vocals. It captures the experience of navigating life’s uncertainties and pivotal choices. Enhanced by a remix from Emmon, which adds a minimalistic, atmospheric touch, the track becomes an ideal soundtrack for those unafraid to explore both the light and dark sides of their path.

Lux Rec number 52 presents Abe Schwartz aka Giulio Parzino, a musician from Milano with strong ties to Zürich. Active since years in the industrial and cassette culture scene he delivers this time 7 astonishing emotional, danceable, yet potently noisy tracks.

Nicolas Balmer hails from Zürich and he is an integral part of the underground alternative music scene there since forever. This record was entirely written, produced and recorded by Nicolas at Zimmerlistrasse in Zürich, between the 21st and 29th of December 2023. A time where everything that could have happen just happened. He poured all that pain and drive into this. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.

After a long period of inactivity, during which he recharged his batteries for his return to music production, JG Outsider took up the challenge of recording his first solo album in this new phase of his musical career. EBM, industrial sounds, post-punk songs with his own vocals and high-level collaborations make up this work. It is undoubtedly a musically mature album that shows the identity of this chameleon-like artist with a career spanning more than 30 years. The album also includes great remixes by Nightcrawler Music and Spammerheads as well as a collaboration with Ruth García/From Hell.

Throughout the 1980s, Michael Antener, born and raised in Bern, Switzerland, initiated an array of sonic endeavours in the realm of industrial, dark, aggressive music. The triple vinyl release is all about documenting Michael Antener’s adventures during that intense 1980s period, comprising materials from vinyl records, cassettes, and live recordings, some of it unreleased. The release also includes a deep dive into Michael’s visual archive of posters, photos, and sleeve artworks. The disjointed, tumultuous body of work presented here marks the testament of a fringe musician who was disruptive and confrontational, keen to shock and alarm people (much to our liking), and who could easily have been lost in oblivion.

Trust the Rust is back with a vengeance. The second compilation by Kri Records takes up where the previous one left off: rusty electro, occult wave, distorted acid and melancholic EBM. Alonzo opens the release with his signature 808 bass, Hayter pushes pitched-down vocals and filthy electro vibe further, while Chino delivers a diabolical ravey EBM banger. Serbian duo YusYus marches on with an authoritative synth anthem Masters Of The Future and Disco Morato finishes the A side with a hypnotic slow burner Ultime. B Side opens with a bang by Parand, followed by arctic electro mist crafted by System Disorder (aka Dj Nephil). Marco Segato smoothly blended electro and jungle with the track Subconscious, Zagreb collective Lab Personnel’s dark stomper might evoke fist pumps on the floor, while E.L.I.’s nostalgic piece Atonal Being rounds the release.

As the darkness creeps in from the depths of the north, the restless spirits of the underground rise from their eternal slumber. Like a chilling reckoning, the creatures of the night emerge from their graves, summoned by the pulsing rhythms and haunting melodies of Up Norths’s latest offering. This cassette tape release unleashes a malevolent force of EBM and dark electronics, conjuring an unholy alliance of sounds to possess your soul. Let the shadows consume you…”
