Salamanca returns with their fifth release, proud to present two pioneers from the infamous Dutch Westland italo scene: Peet Need and Savino. The duo came up with an excellent remix of Marcia di Kioto, next to their original song called Hypnotized. On the flipside you’ll find haunting synths by SEER on Voltaic break-beats delivered by Afrobot. Last but not least we have included an new wave edit from the mysterious Simulanten.

After heating up with Sign Bit Zero’s second release with Wosto and label boss Kilian Krings, Sign Bit Zero is now continuing with some edits by Murray CY, the label honcho of Contort Yourself. The next release contains strictly rough tape material of old and forgotten cassettes from the eighties with a wide range from weird obscurites to strongly distorted material.

Editor extraordinaire, Sneaker welcomes you to marvel at his Midas Touch. Happy disco or chirpy funk edits these ain’t. Instead the Rat Life man unearths three dark obscurities and further blackens their already sinister sounds.’Playground’ by Click Click first came out in 1988. Sneaker maintains the tension, the steady and strained notes as vocals tell a tale of shrouded menace. Ralph Lundsten opens the flip, his 1970 track ‘Through A Landscape of Mirrors’ is bolstered with snapping rhythms, synths are smeared and wrenched as the twisted hand of Dunkeltier takes control. The last instalment, first released on Ant-Zen in 2006, is Geneviève Pasquier’s ‘Fairy Tale.’ A gritty track of reduced industrial essences, the original has been extended and further muddied for ready-made dancefloor corruption.

Ron Hardy housed-up disco biz. Chaplin Band – Il veliero, Willie colon – She Don’t Know I Am Alive (dub two), Tony Cook & The Party People – On The Floor (underground mix). All the real djs were looking for those for years. Grab it before it’s sold out, we have very few copies. A must have.

More Ron Hardy stuff. Jack rabbit martin – Only want to be, Acid trax (original cut), Jack my body (unreleased vocal mix).

Superconscious Records offshoot ”Suco” returns with two bizarre club edits from Bjorn This Way aka Francis Inferno Orchestra.

Sign Bit Zero strides onwards with a set of punishing dancefloor interpretations of forgotten industrial gems handpicked by Hamburg’s Wosto and label head honcho, Kilian Krings. While Wosto’s previous output as half of Fallbeil is as much informed by Chicago house as EBM, his contributions to SBZ002 focus on the C90 experimentation which roughens the edges of the duo’s past efforts for Contort Yourself and New York Haunted. Kilian Krings explores his passion for Neue Deutsche Welle and its various offshoots in his edits here, setting a bold statement for the future of both his own and Sign Bit Zero’s no-compromise approach. SBZ002 sheds light on crucial yet often overlooked aspects of 1980s industrial experimentation. Wosto and Kilian Krings morph their discoveries into club-ready headspinners, assured to prove a highlight of any adventurous DJ set.

Threemore edits from one of the original house music creator Ron Hardy. Patrick Cowley – Mind Warp, King Sporty & the ExTras – Haven’t Been Funked Enough, Strafe – Set It Off (instrumental).

The Hivern edit series is back with its 4th instalment, this time with two joints by Lost Scripts, the duo of John Talabot and Marc Pional. On the A side, S.O.P. revamps the theme of a popular TV series with krautish rhythms and woozy percussive details to transform it into kosmische monster ready for the club. On the flip, A.F.K. is an uplifting afro-house number that pairs ritualistic percussion and African chants with curly synths to create a journey that starts in the savannah and ends in outer space. A proven dancefloor wrecker.

Homesick #5 is the unplanned result of a tremendously funky DJ set by General Ludd in Hong Kong. Three tracks have been chosen by the Homesick team to reflect the intense disco inferno atmosphere we all felt on that unforgettable night.

Justin Van Der Volgen’s My Rules label is back with its second release of 2016: the Lee Douglas edit of Soulful Dynamics – Jungle People. Given the nod and approved by the band, this is the version you’ve heard and been looking for over the last few years. Now finally seeing a proper release after many requests. Douglas takes the original, teases out the arrangement and turns the psychedelic knob to 100.

MERC welcomes Mark Seven as guest editor on E-Versions 7. It took a long time, a lot of telephone conversations, a lot of pleading, digging, sweat and tears to simply find out what Tony’s Slice was after hearing it on Mark’s Parkway Mastermix. Turns out its MKVIIs attempt at recreating a live mix by Tony Humphries he heard on Kiss cutting 2 copies of the phone conversation back and forward forever. With EV#7 looming we knew this would be a perfect opportunity to have a guest on the series, so we persisted and broke him down and he finally gave in to the pressure.
In addition to Tony’s Slice, MKVII has turned in a superb acid work out in the form of Case Study #9.

In a world where everything is relative, this may well be the final nail in the truth’s coffin. From the past to the present and the present to the past, of stories forgotten and to be told. Murray, labelboss from the great Contort Yourself label, created a library full of edited (un)forgotten cassette material from the first part of the 80’s. This compilation features Die Form, Fan Tan, Nocturnal Emissions, AGem, Beats Per Minute and Parazite: tracks to take you back to the future on the modern day dancefloor.

From the Going Good camp. The drums smack. The bass is too loud. Liberia, Ghana, all the way across to Uganda. 1970’s tinpot dictatorships birth colourful sounds. Magnetic tape, Linn drums and Bucket Brigade delay units confuse the mix. Sub-cultural colonialism to destroy the dance. Still, it sounds good. And it looks nice as well!

The second release on Italian label Il Silenzio Del Rumore comes with two amazing Mick Will edits.. Collectors editions, this consisting of a 12′ colored vinyl plus a photo insert and a totemic object from the picture set, in transparent plastic sleeve.
