Italian House Music producer, Fabio Monesi, delivers a smoking 8 track double LP of old school bombs for L.I.E.S. Records. You’d be forgiven for thinking these were produced in the ’80s as all the classic and authentic elements are intact; catchy Yamaha DX basslines, crunchy TR-707 and Juno strings. Eight cuts all primed for the disco tech and nights of pure hedonism. These tracks go right back to the essence, hitting the full spectrum with stripped back classic New York and Chicago House cuts that wouldn’t seem out of place in a BMX or WBLS mix from back in the day. Catchy dx basslines, slammin reverb drenched drum programming, and deep strings are on order for this one.

Another quality release on Hotmix Records, featuring tracks from Fabio Monesi, KMTR, NLXLP, Ricardo Baez.

Following a couple of strong releases on labels such as Russian Torrent Versions, Dog in The Night and Wilson Records, Fabio Monesi finally makes his debut on his own Hardmoon London imprint in which he released his music, since 2014, under his alias Hissman.

Fabio Monesi makes a return to his own Wilson Records after last year’s album “Parasol Dance’. From the raw beat of Mirage’ to the smooth and jazzy sound of Pipe Dream’, this EP encloses the versatile approach of Fabio Monesi to the music, in which analog recordings and warm sounds are a must.

Hissman jumps on for the latest Dog In the Night installment with four rockin house cuts. Go direct to ”Paper Moon” for a shuffling discofied house monster or check the Power of God with its big juno bassline and 808 toms. It’s all here with raw House elements in tact and the djs in mind.

Italian artist Fabio Monesi has been busy these years working hard in the studio while also running the Wilson Records label among his other production projects. Here we get three tracks of no nonsense party jams sure to burn the floor. From Acid Storm to Palladium, all bases are covered on this ep with big basslines, punching acid and well placed samples chopped just right for you and all your dj needs.

Raw and 90’s influenced effective house tracks on this Wilson sublabel from London. Including cool acid cut on the b2.

Wilson Records boss Fabio Monesi returns with a blistering seven track LP. ‘Parasol Dance’ embodies the musical headway and fruition Fabio experienced exploring different soundscapes and rhythms in his London based studio this last year. The crisp analogue cuts in the album are peppered with Monesi’s organic evolution from the New Jersey sound drawing inspiration from Jazz, Funk and even Disco, all the while never faltering on the end product of raw undulating grooves. In a sentence, in ‘Parasol Dance’ Fabio has dished up a vibrant collection of raw and robust cuts that keep you locked from start to finish and will be no doubt be finding a welcome home in record bags across the globe.

Hardmoon London is a new independent platform solely focused to release music by the analog militants who are struggling against the loudness war of digital industry and want to spread the love of that warm, distorted sound exclusively through vinyl or special tapes. The first release comes by way of courtesy from the mysterious Hissman who captures, with his name, the vey essense of the tape’s sound: Hissssss… that’s the sound you hear when a tape starts rolling.

Skylax Records brings for the 33rd release the Milanese house producer Fabio Monesi. Fabio opens the EP with “Duke mama”, a proper house anthem complete with a set of neat vocals, a shuffling workout of hi-hats, the inevitable snare and an old-school bass line which bounces from wall to wall. He closes the A side with “Millionhands” a similarly reflective house number for when things turn seriously deep Monesi’s rugged low end bumper.
