From the dystopian future of 1997 the legendary warrior unit known as Unit Black Flight, is now a lone survivor in a world gone mad. ‘Tracks From The Trailer’ is the sound of one man’s weapons upgrade montage as he prepares to escape Indianapolis and heads ol’ Californy-Way to the beat of a LinnDrum. Giallo Disco Records are proud to present the incredible Unit Black Flight, who’s previous releases on Bunker, Strange Life and Seed have never been too far from our DJ Bags. The ‘Tracks From The Trailer’ EP comprises of remastered cuts from the 2012 digital only release, plus a special remix from Minimal Rome’s Heinrich Dressel. This is Horror Disco at its finest.

Giallo Disco Records are proud to present our first release from a non-in-house artist and our first 100% Genuine Italian. Alessandro Parisi, who had previously released through Lux and Minimal Rome. Alessandro’s unique retro-futurist soundtrack re-imaginings are Italian through and through. Armed only with a TR707, Roland JX3P and an old Teac 244 Tape Recorder his music is organic, magickal and scary as hell… Special guest remixer for this release is Brassica (Dissident / Cyberdance / Nocturnes) which sees his cosmified rework of ”Hesperius Draco” as a soundtrack to Timberland attending a voodoo ritual in an abandoned Detroit warehouse.

From within fog and street lamps, Giallo Disco Records return continuing their journey into the mouth of madness with Antoni Maiovvi’s Stockholm Synthdrone EP. Six tracks of sleazed out voodoo soundtracks for the dancefloors of no named clubs in strange cities. Darkroom’s electro-tech slimes along the floor like leather clad ectoplasmic spectres, furthering Maiovvi’s own New Beat / Early Detroit fetish. Prisoner Nightdrive is a slow motion cinematic epic. Brooding FM Bass and polyrhythmic arps recall John Carpenter at his most tense. Voodoo Voodoo’s Frizzi-Does-Dirty-House atmospheres could bring the dead back to life through battered floor toms, occult chants and a ghostly piano seemingly detuning itself. The Ep is closed with a remix by Cage & Aviary’s Jamie Paton.

Giallo Disco Records presents their first release Black Gloves EP. Between Berlin and Vienna, Giallo Disco Records is a new label dedicated to the sub-sub-genre of Horror Disco. Gianni Vercetti’s macabre soundtracks are presented with lashings of VHS grain. ‘L’Incubo Senza Fine’ is dripping with tension, a relentless kick drum thud like the march of the undead themselves. Legowelt’s remix only adds to this, calling on the sound of his most recent collection ‘The Teac Life’. Antoni Maiovvi’s Rituals Of Lust is a 98bpm dark EBM/New Beat-esque stomper. Retro-space age futurism, battleships preparing for war near the moons of Jupiter. Themroc(k)’s would perhaps be the perfect music for a malfunctioning T-800, demented vocals a-go-go. Dark brooding action soundtracks for a bleak tomorrow.
