Bold keys, echoing the cinematic grandeur of Italy, are supported by dynamic drum patterns as a vocal sample circles. Styles spin and spiral, the track twirling between genre tags refusing to be pigeonholed. Elements of East and West glide and pirouette hand in hand across this stunning 7”, Chiara offering the perfect soundtrack to dance from dusk to dawn.

Awesome Orientalists From Europa is an edits project dedicated to awesome music and new politics. Inspired by record labels and DJs that specialise in reissuing ‘world’ music, A.O.F.E. turns the tables on the perception of exoticism by rediscovering obscure and forgotten western dance floor tracks. The music published in the project fantasises about the foreign, tribal and oriental, but was in its whole created in the west, for the west.
All profits from this release are donated to NGOs that fight Islamophobia, antisemitism and racism in Europe.

Producer veteran Thee J Johanz from the Netherlands, a master of technology, deepness and a pinch of humor, debuts on Running Back with a 4 tracker that pays homage to the innovators of electro disco: Giorgio Moroder and Patrick Cowley. “Kickin ‘In” is actually a Patrick Cowley cover, the proceeds of which go to the San Francisco Aids Foundation.
