Low Tape returns to eudemonia with his second EP for the label. This time the talented Russian produces shows again his craft to produce energetic club-ready emotive electronic music. The EP consists of four tracks which can shine at any moment.
Low Tape is being on a roll lately with his unique interpretation of electronic music and a vast amount of outstanding releases. This time he joins Eudemonia with the ‘True Dayz For Confessing In Luv’ EP and continues his work where he left off. The EP is a perfect blend of different electro tracks with emotional as well as forward thinking moments. Profits will be donated to Musicians Without Borders.
Gennadiy Manzhos brings his Low Tape project to Private Persons for the very first time. “The Next Summer of Love EP” is an expansive and universally impressive affair, with the Russian producer brilliantly charging between sun-kissed deep electro, raw and heavy jack-tracks, skittish but spacey electrofunk, bittersweet brilliance and bass-heavy ghetto-house/ambient techno fusion.

Nerang Recordings makes an exciting return with a debut from Russian producer Low Tape. Spanning blistering Detroit-tinged electro through italo-indebted melodies, ‘Reality Zone’ makes for a versatile 6 tracker that does damage on both sweaty dancefloors and early night build-ups. Straight out of the gate, opener “Funky Detune” weaves metallic and acid sequences that bend at the seams while an electro backbone drives the heat. The EP is full of those kind of highlights and special bangers like “Dangerous Groove” and “East Dancer” show the clear force that is Low Tape’s ability to summon smooth and slippery soundscapes that exude serious grit and personality.
Low Tape debuts on X-Kalay with a massive 5 tracker of emotive electro and acid. The Russian producer showcases a real talent in creating a versatile and diverse EP; expertly balancing functional club weight and subtle melodic sensibility. Title track Road Valley is a case in point; carried by a wistful melody line, the track is underpinned by flickering percussion, deep pads and a warm rumbling bass. Red Lights in ma Eyes utilizes a punchy, swung electro groove whilst celestial pads play out under a dripping acid line. Acid Television switches things up with a hammering sawtooth bass, whilst the sharp percussion and cold synths lend a distinctively mysterious, almost noir-esque feel… On Technovia the 303 makes a return – driving acid, urgent percussion and tense pads combine for another slick club cut. Finally, the drifting pads and soaring melodies of ‘Why is Life so Strange’ conclude things perfectly with shimmering melancholy and introspection.
Of Paradise join forces with rising Russian talent, Low Tape, for an EP of deftly crafted and explorative house & electro. Comprising of four slices of soaring electronic music that collectively showcase a new and hybrid sound.
