Echo 106 – Infernal Regions [LXRC014]

Lux Rec presents the second appearance of Echo 106 on the label. The two brothers descended into Infernal Regions to witness torturing flames, black magic woods, seas of damned souls and ice cold bodies. So brave, although not without any fear, they went close enough to sense such pains themselves. Carving five songs that depict their gloomy journey to an extent that, as the last song says, all is heard indeed.

Stefan Blomeier – Unexpected Journey [LXRC013]

Lux Rec once again explores the underground of analog possibilities. Stefan Blomeier is a extraordinary musician playing mostly live and recording on tape cassette, not having a plan but letting the music find a way out in itself. So these three tracks came out.

Alessandro Parisi – Draconia [LXRC012]

New album on Lux Rec. Alessandro Parisi recorded this album just with a Roland TR-707 and a Roland JX-3P. The heritage from his home in the northeast of Italy is clearly present in the music of Parisi. Back in the late seventies and early eighties Pordenone was an industrial city with a vivid underground post punk and wave scene. Cold weather electronics. Fog and darkness surrounds the place to this day and deeply pervades this record: the history of a city called Draconia. Who will do wrong shall not be forgiven.

CCO ‎– Music For Cosmonauts [LXCD001]

CCO played a stunning and completely live & analog set at Zukunft, in Zurich. Lux Rec asked him to reenact the set and record it once again, live. The result is an electronic music suite, filled with 808 and 707 beats, 303 acid lines and spatial sounds. It was magic to see CCO at work, as no computer was used in the process every pattern specs had to be written down on paper, and machines programmed on the run. Following the vinyl EP previously released on Lux Rec, which contained revised excerpts taken from same liveset, this CD includes the entire piece.

Jack Curtu – Senza Via D’Uscita [LXRC009]

In Italy’s deepest south, where summer sun is harsh and burns you at midday, sweat is real. You can smell, taste and feel it. It’s cold sweat. From constant fear, that haunts people in the dusty streets like shadows. Some say, it’s only paranoia. But you can’t deny the kidnappings, the stick-ups and the killings. Police is doomed to watch, hands cuffed, since the power lays in the hands of others. Who are they? They are invisible. You can only see the bloodshed and the tears. And like everywhere else in the world: violence is always calling for more violence. This is the life of Jack Curtu. And his music takes you there. Three slices, each unique in style, yet united by human rage, misery and desperation. Senza via d’uscita – there’s no way out!
