Figure Jams is back with a another fresh and exciting pairing of artists. This time the record is a collection of pure analogue goodness, sparkling ripe with synthesizer magic. The A-side comes courtesy of duo TWR72, who happen to distill perfection through simplicity in their stripped-back productions. While ‚Polished’ is a pulsating bit of beatless yet captivating clean-cut loops, their other contribution shows their talent at crafting something lean, dry and punchy, which is still undeniably driving and hypnotic. Picking up on the synth-heavy theme of this release is St. Petersburg’s finest Aleksey Niktin aka Nocow. Inspired by the endless baltic winters, the producer packs his tracks with emotions that feel cold but not icy, engulfing the listener in winching waves of melancholic Electronica.

Another solid VA on the Planet Rhythm imprint. Usual suspect ‘Yan Cook’ opens up with the sturdy techno-cut ”Canyon”. Steve Parker delivers some hypnotic acid business. Boys of the moment TWR72 come up with an intrusive bit of strongarm Techno. Alderaan closes down this EP with his arp anthem Xem.

Proper techno tools by this Dutch producer-duo. Known for their signature solid techno tool sound, they’ve delivered a strong four tracker release with Trigeminus EP.
TWR72 – Reflect Part 2 [FLOAT005]
Float Records first vinyl release is a fact. And what could be better then divide it in 2 parts. The first output reflects the second. Label owners TWR72 presents you ‘Reflect’. The 1st remix comes from Berlin based Markus Suckut. A subtle angle is taken on Reflect which makes the remix feel sustainable. Just the perfect remix to include in his impeccable oeuvre. All the way from Finland is analog devotee Samuli Kemppi, who takes care of the 2nd remix. Samuli creates a sudden tension with builds up until the very end. A001, from Amsterdam, turns the original Reflect into a obscure remix with an perplexing 2nd half. A001’s mysterious and quiet appearance is a paradox compare to his musical output. TWR72 closes the EP with the bonus track ‘Response’.
