2024 Best Tracks part 6 (of 10)

We start presenting our favorite tracks from 2024. More or less in a chronological order we present here the sixth set of tracks.

Tough Cuts‘ from Alric Aerial released on a Clut Communication split EP is an electro track with dungeon-bound sine tones splay across the top edges of the track.

Metro‘ is a smooth-flowing house track from Swedish producer Sean Dixon released on the French Partout label.

Utrecht’s Böhm with ‘Creatures‘ on M>O>S Recordings. As always, beautiful, warm, jacking, bleep-y, deep house, reminiscing to good old times, 90’s Chicago house, early 00’s UK bleep techno.

Fossils‘ is taken from the Theo Parrish’s venerated Sound Signature label’s 100 milestone, the double album, ‘Skin Breaker’, from Howard Thomas. It collide dusty drums with gurgling synths, deep space pads with caustic basslines and otherworldly energy that very much comes back from the future to keep you on your toes.

The Hungarian label Dalmata Daniel is a constant presence in our Best Tracks of 2024 and ‘Bill And His Cat‘ from Betonkust, a cute and playful electro track, is the fourth track from the label, after tracks from Anatolian Weapons, Timothy J. Fairplay and Norwell.

For the second opus of Serenity In Keos, Italian producer Heinrich Dressel breaks from his typical style, delivering more upbeat and dancefloor oriented tracks. ‘Deep Sea Defenders‘ with pounding basslines and haunting, introspective melodies pushes the listeners to lose themselves in the hypnotic rhythms and immersive soundscapes.

Night Vibrations‘ from Nude Disco is a playfull and happy track just perfect for Bordello a Parigi traveles with ‘Buone Vacanze’.

Flight Mode co-founder Five Ten made his first solo appearence for the Swiss label, showcasing his evolving artistry and dedication to the craft. ‘Decentralized‘ is drawing deep inspiration from old school sounds, progressing like an industrial/EBM track, delivering a raw and nostalgic yet innovative experience.

Tooflez served a remix package for ANDI A.’s “Bass Control’’, exploring the different dimensions in the multi-faceted universe of electro. With this ocasion, the Detroit Electro veteran, DJ Di’jital, delivered a bass-heavy, deep dive into the underground.

Thessaloniki’s 303 maestro, DimDj is a legendary figure of the Greek electronic music scene. ‘Oasis‘ released on To Pikap Records, blends Chicago house with Detroit’s Afrofuturism and 707 grooves, warm melodies, acid basslines and jazzy leads.

More to come. Stay tuned.
