2025 Best Tracks part. 1 (of 10)

We start presenting our favorite tracks from 2025. More or less in a chronological order we present here the first 10 tracks.

First one, is deep house maestro Alton Miller on Mister Bear with the tracks ‘Super Hero’, whimsical synth leads and interesting sound designs adding rich detail to a dusty deep house groove.

Master of the ‘refined machine funk sound’ Cignol makes his return to UTTU with uplifting, euphoric electro track ‘Suspicion‘.

Set Free‘ released on House of Underground is a brilliant collaboration between UK legend DMX Krew and French young blood DVDE, featuring vocals by none other than the iconic Fingers vocalist Robert Owens.

Schrödinger’s Box had a release by Catalan artist Adrian Marth including a saturated and spiraling rework of “Divine on the Late Show 88” by Legowelt.

JG Outsider returned to Oráculo Records to once again deliver his unique blend of twisted modern EBM, advanced industrial, and power electronics, joined by Nightcrawler with a dancefloor-filling remix.

Yvgoslavia is undoubtedly one of the best post-punk and minimal wave acts from Spain, and ‘Zairja’ with it’s frozen atmospheres and relentless, punishing beats immediately captivate any advanced darkwave enthusiast. Tracks also released on Oráculo Records.

Introspective‘ is the title track of Elektrokohle’s debut album release also by the Catalan label Oráculo Records. This album is a masterclass in future punk sound; it couldn’t be more powerful or punchy, being a great legacy to actual and future generations interested in furious music.

Staying true to the Egyptian Lover signature 80s west-coast electro sound, ‘So Good‘ echoes classics of his, by blending signature Roland 808 beats with Kraftwerk and hip-hop influences.

MIDI Voyage‘ by DJ Sotofett showcases a playful take on electronic music, is an electrifying electro track that blend 80’s Nintendo console vibes and holy grail analog vs digital synthesis. DJ Sotofett & The Colours of Computer Generated Instruments was released on Clone West Coast Series.

Last year, without much fanfare or fuss, Nick Anthony Simoncino launched a new sub-label of his long-serving HotMix Records imprint called Hot Street Records. The first release came from unknown producer Shin Watanabe, who served up an album of nostalgic, analogue-rich and sample-heavy cuts. ‘TRAXXX VII” is our favorite from the album. Propper Classic House Music.

More to come. Stay tuned.
